Summary
Rainflower, a queen that had just lost her litter the night before, wanders through the forest alone late at night to try and talk to Starclan, pleading to know why they had snatched her kits away from her so soon, begging for them to give her something of her kits back. Almost immediately after, she hears whimpering, something that smells like a kit. She takes it back to her clan to get it help, not noticing the muzzle that's a bit too long, the tail too short, and the underlying scent that was so very much NOT a kit under the heavy scent of sickness.
Follow Finch on his journey through growing up as a dog in a cat's world within the clans, desperate to earn his place in a world not built for him with his found-family's help.
