Chapter Text
Ranboo sat at his desk, preparing to stream. He'd become a somewhat popular idol in the Minecraft Youtuber community. He was actually part of the Dream SMP, one of the biggest subjects on basically any media platform.
He proudly played the part of an enderman-ghast hybrid, being able to pick up things, such as grass blocks with his silk touch hands. Something he found extremely funny was the fact that out of all the abilities his character had, the one he didn’t have was teleportation, which was the only enderman-ish thing he could do in real life.
Planning to do some Dream SMP lore, he went over the script one last time, deciding he was ready.
He ran a hand through his hair, ruffling it, and started the stream.
He felt an itch, not a harsh one, more or less a tingly feeling. It was in his hands, creeping up to his arms, then his shoulders, spreading across his body.
At this point, he already knew what it was.
Thanking whatever was up in heaven that he ended his stream 15 minutes ago, Ranboo stood up and grabbed his phone, just in case he was teleported outside somewhere far off from his home. Somehow that had never happened before, fortunately, but it was good to be prepared just in case.
He could feel the feeling slowly freeze him in place, vision going black.
When he opened his eyes, he could see through blurred vision something green and everything felt wet. He blinked a few times to get rid of his smeared vision.
Slowly sitting up, he noticed that it was because it was raining pretty hard. Wait, what? Rain? It wasn't raining where he lived.
The rain was heavy as all hell, so he got up and looked for some sort of roof or cover he could use to cover his head.
As he observed more of his surrounding, he noticed that the area was a playground surrounded by grass. He barely spotted a bathroom on the other side of the play area, and started speed walking in the rain.
Shit, why was the rain so heavy? This was nothing like the current weather at his house. Opening the door to the washroom, he slid his hand into his back pocket, pulling out his phone in order to look casual, like he hadn’t teleported there five seconds ago.
Ranboo unlocked his phone and checked his location.
He was in...
That couldn’t be right.
He was in Alabama.
Miles away from home.
He literally lives in California, what the fuck was he supposed to do now? Call his parents?
Actually, that wasn’t sounding too bad.
He'd done so well, hiding this "condition" from his parents for a few years.
He really didn't want to have to tell them that he could teleport, and that he didn't tell them even though they could have helped him, and that he's in Alabama... and that it’s raining way too fucking hard and that he can barely see anything in the rain.
"Uh, hi mom.” He said, brushing his wet hair out of the way.
“Hi sweetheart, did you go to 7 Eleven? You’re not at home.”
“Yeah, about that.... I'm kinda in a bathroom... In Alabama...”
“... Ohh, haha very funny, please come back home now.”
“I'm not joking, I’m literally IN Alabama.”
He quickly sent his location to her.
“But there’s no way you could be in Alabama?”
“It’s kind of hard to explain, but erm, just please pick me up...”
“You’re miles away from home. I can’t just drive by and pick you up in an hour. How about you book a flight? Would that work”
“... That’s reasonable. Uh, it’s actually raining really hard right now and I’m soaked, drenched, from head to toe.” He heard his mother sigh, and the speakers rustled like she was shaking her head.
“I guess I could fly over there, honestly, how did you get all the way to Alabama? You where sitting at your desk streaming like, what, an hour ago?”
“I promise I’ll explain when I get home.”
”Do you have a charger?”
“Erm, no... uh, that’s not good.”
“Alright, you should hang up, save battery.”
“Ok, I’m just going to, uh, wait in this bathroom until you call me.”
“Bye!”
And with that, he hung up.
Ranboo’s situation ended up getting sorted out, and he told his parents like he promised.
Thank Philza that his parents didn’t send him off to the goverment.
