   “Cheri,” EJ whispered, gazing at the curly haired Frenchman, hunched in on himself with exhaustion, nose swollen and discolored.
   That one word was all it took. Sammy’s eyes whipped up, taking in the sight of his alpha. He only froze a moment before launching himself into EJ’s arms. He trembled as he shoved his face into the taller man’s sternum, pressing in as close as he possibly could.
