   Summary

   He should really go to the store. He could go to the store. He takes his keys and starts forward to the hallway. There’s a ping. Wilbur Soot asks him to join his stream. And, you see, Jack could very much also just not go to the store, with no repercussions whatsoever. So, he doesn’t. He joins the call and has a great time.

   Next day he wakes up hungry, angry, and fucking disappointed with himself.
