Emu ran up to Tsukasa, hugging him from behind. “Tsukasa-kun, that was our most amazing snow yet!! We gotta celebrate it somehow! Maybe an afterparty!” “Actually, I wanted to talk to you in private. Wanna go on a walk with me?” “Sure! I don’t know what you wanna talk to me about though...” Tsukasa and Emu walked around Phoenix Wonderland for a few seconds before Tsukasa stopped. “?” Confused, Emu stopped, too. “What’s wrong?” “Emu...” Tsukasa held both of Emu’s hands in his. “I’m just gonna be honest here. I’ve liked you for a long time but I’ve never figured out a way to tell you. I also don’t know if you’re ready for a relationship or even wanna be in one. So if you’re up for it...will you go out with me?” Emu’s heart skipped a beat. “I...I like you, too, and I wanna go out with you!” “R-Really?” Emu nodded, and Tsukasa smiled brightly and hugged her, holding her closer than ever before. “Thank goodness!” Emu hugged him back. “I’ve always liked you, Tsukasa-Kun! You’ve been the biggest inspiration to me ever! Spending time with you is always so...” “Wandahoi?” “Yeah! Wandahoi!”
~Present day~
Tsukasa was sitting on a bench in Phoenix Wonderland, lost in deep thought. Rui saw his bestie thinking hard and sat beside him. “Tsukasa-Kun.” “Huh? Oh, hey, Rui.” “You looked like you were deep in thought. Is something wrong?” “Kind of, yeah. I don’t know what to do for my 6-month anniversary with Emu. I’ve had a few ideas, but none of them are good enough for someone like her.” “I see...” “And she’s been saying things like how she wants to be with me forever...god, I don’t even know how to react to that.” After a few seconds of thinking, Rui responded with, “Maybe a wedding play? I know how badly she’s been wanting to act onstage, plus it’s romantic enough to be a good anniversary present.” “Rui, you’re an absolute genius!!” “Figured as such.” Tsukasa grabbed Rui’s hand and dragged him up. “Come on! We gotta tell Nene! She’ll help us out!” “Should we call others as well? I’m not sure if only the 3 of us can do this.” “Fair enough! I’ll call Saki and Touya! They’ll be able to help!” “Sounds like a plan. Maybe I could recruit Mizuki as well. They could distract her for long enough, seeing as they both like cute things.” “Perfect! This is gonna be the greatest half-anniversary ever!!” Tsukasa shouted with pride, confident in the layout of his plan.
*beep beep!* “Huh? A group chat with Big Bro?” Saki said, opening her phone to see the notification.

Saki: Big Bro! I saw that you created this! Any special occasion???
Tsukasa⭐️ has entered the chat
Tsukasa⭐️: Of course! I gathered the rest of you here because I need help with an elaborate plan!
Nene, Rui, Touya, and Mizuki (they/them) have entered the chat
Mizuki (they/them): What exactly is this plan?
Rui: Tsukasa-Kun and I came up with a plan for his and Emu-Kun’s half-anniversary, which is in a couple days. Since it’s somewhat complex, he enlisted you guys as helpers, along with me.
Touya: i’m assuming it has to do with a play.
Nene: its emu :/ why wouldnt it
Touya: fair enough. also, mizuki, what’s the thing beside your name?
Mizuki (they/them): Oh, those are my pronouns! Basically how you refer to me ^^
Saki: I should probably add those! 😊

Nene: guys were getting off track
Mizuki (they/them): Alright :P Anyway, what did you need our help with?
Tsukasa⭐️: I need you guys to help me come up with a short wedding play. It was Rui’s idea, so I’ll let him explain!
Rui: Thank you, Tsukasa-Kun. This needs to be a secret from Emu-Kun, so nobody say anything to her about it please. Now back to the plan.
Rui: We’re setting up a play with elaborate costumes and props, and we need some of you guys to help with that. The Virtual Singers in the Sekai can help us as well. But I was thinking Saki and Mizuki could help distract Emu for a couple days, while the rest of us set up the set. We also need to brainstorm.
Saki (she/her): First idea: The bridesmaid dresses should be pink!! Mizuki, Nene, and I could be bridesmaids, and Touya, Rui, and Len could be groomsmen!
Nene: wait why len
Saki (she/her): Because I was thinking Kaito could be at the altar playing the role of the priest!
Touya: sounds good. 👍
Mizuki (they/them): Perfect!
Nene: i can see it
Rui: Perfect! We need costumes as well.
Tsukasa⭐️: I can take care of the guys’ costumes!
Mizuki (they/them): I can get dresses!
Rui: Make sure to send your sizes and/or measurements to your respective costumer.
Tsukasa⭐️: I think that’s all we need to discuss for now! But before I sign off:

Sighing as he set down his phone, Tsukasa looked at a picture of him and his girlfriend. “Emu...I’m gonna make sure this is perfect for you. I won’t mess this up.” He set the framed photo down on his nightstand and went to Saki’s room, knocking on the door. “Saki, you in there?” She opened the door and said, “Yep! Something wrong?” “I just...I need this to be perfect. But I’m scared she might not like it.” “Come on, Big Bro, this is Emu we’re talking about! She’s gonna love it!” “I hope so...” “Hey. You got nothing to worry about. I know Emu like the back of my hand. This is gonna be a dream come true for her. Just stick to the plan and it should be fine.” “Alright. Thanks, Saki. I just needed that reassurance.” “No problem! And hey, if you ever need to vent or anything, I’m right here!!” “Alright.” He smiled and hugged his sister, who hugged him back. They let go after a moment. “I’m gonna do some more planning.” Tsukasa said as he went back to his room. “Okay!” Saki closed her door. As Tsukasa sat back on his bed, he thought of how Emu could react, but knew she would still love him regardless.
