Chapter Text
"For the last time Maa I don't want to get married. Now, or ever. Please. Why don't you understand?"
"And for the last time, I am telling you this Namjoon, you have to get married and you have to do it soon. Your Appa's will clearly says if you aren't married by the time you turn thirty, be prepared to say goodbye to your position at the company".
"Wow. I worked my ass off for my position here and now it all depends on a stupid cultural practice that I have absolutely no belief in? Brilliant".
"Marriages aren't stupid. You are. And why are you so against it? We never thought this would be an issue when he wrote this".
"You knew? You knew about this? Why wouldn't you stop him? Oh god Maa, we could have had this amended while Appa was still with us".
"Because like any other Mother I didn't think this would be an issue. You were in a steady relationship with that... That Choi boy. What was his name?"
"Right... You thought I would end up marrying my high school boyfriend who I dated for about three months?"
"Stop arguing with me. It is what it is".
"So I get tied to some stranger that you pick for me just to keep my position at the company which I rightfully deserve? Great. Thanks Maa".
"You don't have to marry someone I choose. You can tell me if there is anybody in your mind. I have absolutely no issue Joonah. I will talk to their parents. Give me a name. Any name".
"I spend at least twelve hours of my day at work. I barely have any time to do things of my own and you believe I am secretly seeing someone? When? How?"
"That's right. But in that case, what about... what about some nice old office romance. Who is your secretary? I've seen some dramas where the boss and..."
"Taehyung. My little brother, unfortunately for me and your little fantasies, is my secretary. Oh, wait a minute, Mrs. Lee, can you call Taehyung here, please? `` Namjoon says, turning to his mother's assistant.
"Sure Sir", the woman nods and leaves the room bowing to the mother and the son.
"Okay, then what about..." his mother starts.
"Maa, I am not seeing my accountant, lawyer, driver, or the guard at the office or our cook. And these are the only people I meet regularly. Anyways, if I don't get married by the time I am thirty, I don't get to be the CEO. What happens then? The position goes to Tae, right? I don't mind. If Tae is the CEO, I am absolutely fine with it. I can..."
"Your uncle. Your uncle gets the company and all of us know what happens when he takes over businesses. We have already suffered enough loss because of him. Not anymore".
"Why not Tae? Don't tell me it's because he's an Omega. We don't believe in all that crap mom. Dad didn't either."
"Well, Tae asked for the villa in Busan instead of a position at the company. He's gonna... He's gonna turn it into some Waterbnb or something."
"Airbnb you mean?"
"Na Hyung, Mom is right. It's Waterbnb. It's right by the sea. Isn't that awesome?" Taehyung replies entering the room and flopping down on the couch next to Mrs. Kim.
"How come he is asked and I have no option? It's so unfair."
"Well, Hyung think rationally. What would you have asked for instead? There was no question. Although I did tell Mom and Dad that you were most likely to end up alone. So..."
"Well, I don't know if I'll be keeping my position or not at the company. What I do know is that tomorrow I am gonna fire you."
"You need me Hyung, you need me so bad. Mom, look at him", Taehyung pouts.
"Joonah..."
"He has an assistant of his own Maa. I pay him and his assistant who does all the work that any secretary of the CEO is supposed to do. Can you believe it?"
"Well, I keep you updated. I have every gossip of the corporate world and every inside talk of our company. I keep your drawer stocked up with all the candies and jellies. I also try to keep you updated with fashion trends which you very obviously ignore, always dressed up in the cheeriest shade of... Black."
"Shut up. I can't believe you guys. You had all of this planned and I had no clue all this time. "
"Joonah..."
"I am going to my room Maa. Have Mr. Lee bring my dinner to the room. I don't wanna talk to you backstabbers. And for your information, this is Navy Blue", he points to his jacket before angrily leaving the room.
"He's such a cutie", Taehyung laughs and lays down on the couch, his head in his Mom's lap as she cards her fingers through his hair.
"Taehyungah, you do know a lot about what's going on in the company, right?"
"Maa, you aren't suggesting that I... Cos everyone knows Hyung is absolutely perfect for the position. Please."
"No, I am not. I wanted to ask, what do other omegas think of your Hyung? Do they talk about him? I am sure some of them might be interested in him. He's a nice boy"
"Some? Maa, I have a whole list. And not just omegas, alphas, and betas equally. You don't come to the office parties anymore or you would see. Hyung is so popular and rightly so. I mean, was. Was popular".
"What do you mean was?"
"Well, you see, initially, it was all okay. He would tolerate most of them. But then once he started growling at a few of them, the fan following did reduce a bit. Not by a lot since people did find it very hot. And then he told a couple of them to change their perfumes because it gives him a headache or talk in their normal voices and not use whatever squeaky sounds they were producing, then... Well you see, we omegas are sensitive people. Hyung doesn't understand that."
"Hmm... You are right Tae. What do we do? I can't have your uncle take over the company. We'll all be ruined."
"Oh, don't you worry Maa. I have just the perfect partner for him."
"I don't know Tae. Your brother seems very disinterested in this whole marriage thing. I don't wanna ruin two lives just for the sake of a company. I feel so guilty already forcing Joon like this".
"We will find many who will be ready to marry Hyung despite his disinterest. But we have to find someone who doesn't want to marry him for his wealth, Someone who just doesn't care. You know what I mean? Maybe someone as indifferent as him."
"Not really. You aren't making a lot of sense right now kiddo."
"It's okay, I know someone, someone absolutely perfect for us. Leave it to me. Now, come on, let's go out. I am craving some spicy Tteokbokki."
"You know Joon doesn't like street food. We can't..."
"That's why he's gonna have whatever Mr. Lee has cooked. And I don't think he will be leaving his den anytime soon. Let's go Maa, I am starving."
.
.
.
"Jeon Jungkook? I haven't heard of him Tae. Who is he?"
"I met him in Busan Maa, a couple of years ago. Do you remember my friend Jimin? He's his friend".
"Your friend Jimin? Well, I don't remember him. However I do know a very pretty, pink-haired boy who has my son's heart and goes by that name," his mother teases, giving him a knowing look.
"Mom..." Taehyung blushes, "Hyung is right about your wide network of little birdies. Too strong. Anyways, so yes, that Jimin. Jungkook is his best friend. Very nice boy. You will like him".
"But, what about Namjoon? Will he?"
"Mom, when did you fall in love with Appa? Wasn't it after you were expecting Hyung? So you do know it's possible to fall in love after getting married too. Right? And the reason I suggest we get Hyung and JK married is that both of them are the solution to each other's problem."
"Jungkook too? Why? Did his Appa...?"
"No, Maa, nobody in his family is asking him to get married. It's him. He can't wait to get married and I think Hyung is the answer to his problem. Now c'mon, let's not waste any time and set up a meeting."
"I don't know Tae, it feels wrong. Namjoon is my son and I already feel bad about doing this. I don't want to ruin this boy's life too. Maybe we should just give it up. Let it be."
"Maa, we are not putting a gun to their heads and getting them married. Let them meet. We don't know what's gonna happen. At least let's try. Who knows Hyung might have a change of heart?"
"Okay, can I see? Do you have his pictures?" She asks after thinking for a few minutes.
"Right here, My lady. He is a complete cutie. And I've met him a couple of times. He's so nice Maa. Big brown eyes and a tiny face and bunny teeth. You will love him."
"He does seem very sweet Tae and it makes me feel worse. Wait, how old is he? What does he do? And his family?"
"From what I know, He will be twenty-two soon. His family is based in Busan. Jungkook is in his final year of college I believe. I can find out more if you want".
"Let us show these pictures to Namjoon first. And then maybe I can talk to his parents."
"Sure Maa. Good luck. I am going out. I already have to deal with Hyung's outbursts at work. You deal with it now."
"But Tae..."
"Sorry, Maa. Love you..."
.
.
.
"Namjoonie, Hi baby. How was work? My son must be really tired".
"What do you want Maa?"
"What do you mean? Can't a mother be worried for her hardworking son? Did you eat?"
"It's a Sunday. I was home all day while you had your secret meeting with Tae".
"Umm... Well, that..."
"It's okay Mom. I don't care. Don't worry. I don't have agents like you do, who give me minute-by-minute details of what's going on in the house or with President Moon or what Park Bo-gum had for dinner."
"Hey... You make me sound like a creep. And Gummy is a close friend alright. He sends me snaps of what he cooked. I don't ask okay?"
"What are you here for Maa?"
"Oh right, listen Joonah, I know you are upset, and now that I think about it, the condition in the will is unfair. But there's nothing we can do about it now. I hate to force you into it like this but tell me what else can I do? Ji-hoon is my brother and I love him with all my heart. But I can't have him take that position."
"You chose the Art Gallery, Tae chose the villa. How come I never got to choose?"
"Because... Because we thought it was so obvious. You worked so hard. And..."
"And yet this. Why? If it was so obvious, why was I the only one who had a condition put into my inheritance?"
"Well, he was gonna put in the condition of you giving him an heir. I stopped that at least".
"Why? I could have done that. A baby would have been much easier Mom. Why this marriage crap?"
"Shut up Namjoon. Don't talk like that. And I've had enough too. I will be happy if you can meet a few people and then decide. And if by the end of this month, you don't find anyone suitable. We will name your uncle the CEO. Okay?"
Namjoon stays quiet for a few minutes, looking away from his mother. He slowly turns to face her and says, "I will try Maa. I won't promise anything. Sorry".
"That's more than enough for me Kiddo. That's all I want".
"Who do you have in mind? Please don't pretend like you and Taehyung don't have someone in mind."
"Well, if you are really asking. Here, take this album" she smiles widely and walks towards her son with the album in hand.
"These many? These look like a lot of people ready to ruin their lives".
"Don't say that Joonie. Also, this is just one guy. He sent these many pictures. Very cute".
"Wait, Maa. Is he of age? He looks like a minor. We will all end up in prison."
"No, he will be Twenty-two soon. He sure is young but he's not a minor. He's from Busan. I'll send you his biodata too. And we can arrange a meeting with him if you are ready."
"Hmm... Give me some time. I need to do some research on my own."
"Fine. Fine. Have Seokjin look into it. But decide soon okay? Love you baby."
.
.
.
"Jeon Jungkook, Omega, Age twenty-one, will be Twenty-two on the first of September, so a Virgo, just like you. Loves dancing, singing, and painting, and is very good at makeup. He is in his final year of college. Has failed twice in the final semester. Books make him sleepy. Has been wanting to get married since he turned eighteen but his family didn't allow it. Youngest in the family. Alpha Father, One older brother Jeon Hoseok an Alpha, married to an Omega, Min Yoongi. His mother passed away when he was pretty young. Brother runs a small but successful supermarket and his dad and brother-in-law own a couple of cafes in Busan. Do you need the specifics?"
"No. How do you always find stuff like this? How?" He asks, visibly astonished.
"Don't forget I was trained by the absolute best. If it weren't for Mrs. Kim..."
"Ya ya. I get it. She's great. I know. So great that she didn't even stop Appa from making my life miserable. All I want is for this company to do great and for me to have a quiet, peaceful life with no interference. Is that too much to ask?" Namjoon complaints.
"It's not uncommon for Chaebols to put such conditions in the will. Your dad did it to protect your family and your future. Nobody knew of your aversion to marriage at the time. You had a new date every week" Jin tries to reason.
"A new date every week doesn't sound very marriage material. Does it? I was right out of college, and that's what most people do at that age. Plus, I was already working which made me attractive. What can I do about it?" Namjoon shrugs.
"Say what you want Namjoon, but this is how it's done. You marry, you produce heirs and that's how the business stays with the family. And no matter how educated or what degree an outsider has, a family business and that too of this scale has to be managed by someone within the family. You know what happened with the Choi's. Their last CEO now works for Samsung only because he was offered better pay, leaving them struggling to stay afloat. Mrs. Kim is right. Listen to her. She's doing it for you, your brother, and this company" Jin explains.
"Hmm... my mother can do no wrong in your eyes anyways. Wait a minute, what if you marry my mother and then you take charge of the company and I don't have to marry anyone? You will keep me in the company right?" Namjoon suggests.
"The company is to be inherited by Mr. Kim's heir. That's you. And please never talk about me marrying your mother. I tried, she refused", he mutters the last part under his breath, barely audible.
"What? You actually...?" Namjoon starts.
"Shut up Joon. It hurts," Seokjin says and settles down on the couch playing with his hands, pouting to himself.
"Alright, alright. I won't tease you. I promise. But always know, if Mom ever changes her mind, I'll gladly accept you as my stepdad. Okay"? Namjoon says very seriously, kneeling before Jin to look him in the eyes, and then bursts out laughing.
"You have no shame, you idiot. I hate you", Jin says, shoving Namjoon away from him.
"There's no shame in that Hyungie. Trust me, I have been calling you daddy behind your back for ages. It suits you" Taehyung says entering Namjoon's office, winking at him.
"I fear for this company. With you two in charge. Sometimes I feel Mr. Ji hoon wouldn't be all that bad. Take this Joonah and then let me know if you want to meet him", he says handing the file to Namjoon and leaving the office as the Kim brothers sit there laughing to themselves.
"Got your research done on JK? What do you think? When do we leave for Busan? Should I have Soobin clear your schedule?"
"You seem very excited for Busan. I would move you to the Busan branch except that would be a good thing for you. And right now all I want is to take everyone down with me. So I won't."
"Sadist" Taehyung mutters and leaves the office angrily.
Truthfully, Namjoon had decided to marry just about anyone without putting much thought into it. But he found Jungkook cute. Not cute enough to change his thoughts on marriage, but cute enough to at least let him know the reason behind the whole thing so he can deny marrying Namjoon himself and not be stuck with him.
.
.
.
"Didn't I tell you Maa? I knew Hyung would agree. Jungkookie is so cute. No sensible Alpha would say no to him. We are going to Busan!" Taehyung exclaims loudly and dances out of the room, his mother follows, copying her son's antics. They only stop when they see Namjoon who was ready dressed in his three-piece, black suit, and black formal shoes giving them a displeased look.
"We are going to Busan, to the beach. You can't wear that hyung. It's to meet your possible mate, not an interview. What are you doing? Tell him Maa."
"Tae is right Joonah. Plus those shoes will be ruined at the beach. I mean you do have thirty other pairs that look exactly like that but still."
"We will meet at a restaurant and not at the beach". Seokjin has made arrangements at Hyatt.
"And what about later? Are you gonna spend an entire day with him talking? In that case..."
"Then I am gonna visit the branch. It's been ages since I last went and I thought it would be a great chance to..."
"No, you won't. What is his problem Maa?".
"Yes, Joonah. Please for once just relax. Busan is beautiful. You love the sea and nature. Promise me you won't be working."
"Fine. I won't take my laptop then," Namjoon sighs and puts his laptop bag down.
"Good boy. Now go change", his mother says, giving him a pleased smile. "But not in another one of these. Something casual. Tae, go help him."
"No. Both of you have helped me enough. I'll go change. Wait here. By the way, why do you guys have such large suitcases? You do know we'll be back by the night."
"No, we won't. We will be back on Sunday. I've cleared your entire schedule and we have all your clothes packed right here. Now quickly go and change. We'll wait here."
"I wanna see what you have packed. I know you too well."
"Trust me Joonah, there's no catch. Those are mostly just your sad black and blue formal wear. I checked" Seokjin answers, instead.
"You look very handsome today Seokjinah!" Mrs. Kim comments and then quickly shuts her mouth close, embarrassed with herself.
"And you look stunning, as always Jung-ah... I mean Mrs. Kim", Seokjin stutters, turning the brightest shade of red.
"Come help me with my outfit Mr. handsome", Namjoon calls, turning to his room and Seokjin follows, his head hung low.
A couple of minutes later Namjoon emerges from his room dressed in a white button-down shirt with his sleeves folded to his elbows, tucked in well-fitted light wash blue jeans. The black formal shoes stay though.
He halts before his Mom and brother and says, "Is this okay? Even if it's not, I am not gonna change." He says and walks towards the main door. "I'll be waiting in the car" he calls.
"Jungkook stands no chance. I am worried we might have to save him from omegas on the plane" Taehyung laughs and runs after his brother and their mother follows smiling.
.
.
.
"Jungkookah, they won't be here till tomorrow. Can you relax?"
"Sorry hyung, I am just so excited. I have been looking forward to this day since forever. I can't believe you guys made me wait this long to get married."
"I've never seen a person like you. Most young people avoid getting married these days and then there's you", Yoongi says, shaking his head.
"Priorities Hyungie. Now help me make a list. What will I be needing to take with me to Seoul? Apparently, that's where they live. I wonder what their apartment is like. Will I have space for my art room? Seoul is very expensive so I shouldn't keep my hopes very high right?"
"Why don't you slow down kiddo? You are only gonna meet him. It's not like you are moving to Seoul tomorrow itself. Who knows what the alpha is like anyways. Do you even know his name?" Yoongi asks, shaking his head.
"Some Kim. Haven't had the chance to find out a lot. But Jiminie says he's nice. And I believe him. He's related to TaeTae and I am very excited to see TaeTae again. Plus Dad outright refused to meet the dude who proposed to me on Insta last month. He was from Italy Hyung. I was so upset. At least he's okay meeting this guy. He can't be that bad. Please let him not be bad Dear God" Jungkook says, as he closes his eyes and folds his hands, praying for the same.
"Kookie, you are a baby. I don't even think you are read..."
"Don't. Don't finish that sentence hyung. I am ready. I am so ready. Please. I've been ready for years now. And finally, there is some hope in my life. Please don't say anything," Jungkook pleads. "Anyways, I am gonna go put on a sheet mask. I have to look pretty for tomorrow. I can't have that dude reject me. Are you coming?"
"Nevermind", Yoongi sighs, shaking his head.
.
.
.
"Slow down hyung, You seem to be very eager to meet your future mate"
"Prospective. Not future. And I need to get done with this quickly. The faster he rejects me, the better it is. Then I can try and find someone to bribe and change Appa's will somehow. I've decided."
"Nobody is bribing anybody. We don't need any sort of negative news doing rounds about the company in the market Joon. Don't even think about it. And why will he reject you? You are perfect. Anyone would be lucky to have you as their mate."
"Sure. Now let's go. Taehyungah, call your boyfriend and ask where are they? We'll reach in ten minutes".
"Of course", Taehyung blushes at the mention of Jimin and dials his number. "Hi, gorgeous!" He starts. "Oh, I can't wait to see you too, my love. It's been..."
"Jiminah, Namjoon here. We will reach the hotel in ten alright?"
"Y...yes hyung. We are almost there. Kookie's, I mean Jungkook's brother and father are with us. We'll meet you in the lounge" Jimin informs.
"Alright," he says and hands back the phone to Taehyung who pouts at the blank screen.
.
.
.
Namjoon knew what he had to do. He was gonna go there, explain his whole situation to the omega, and get rejected. Who would want to spend their entire life with someone who had no interest in them or the relationship, to begin with? Sure, he had a lot of money, but to ruin their own life over some money doesn't really seem reasonable. No sane person would do it.
"Namjoonah, they seem like really nice people. I know what your plan is, but please, try. I know you won't regret it", Seokjin whispers in his ears before Namjoon and Jungkook move to the restaurant to get to know each other better. Whatever that means.
Seeing the beautiful omega might have shaken some of his resolve. To say Jungkook was beautiful would be an understatement. He was more beautiful than anyone Namjoon had ever come across. Pretty pouty lips, curly hair, and his eyes, big brown beautiful eyes, looking around curiously. He was dressed in a fluffy oversized bright yellow sweater and blue well-fitted jeans, with rips at the knees and white chunky sneakers. But, he was so tiny. Well not really, he was definitely taller than his dad and definitely taller than Jimin, about Taehyung's height but somehow still managed to look so small next to Namjoon.
"Umm... So, this is a nice place. Isn't it?"
"Sure. It is. But I mean they charge so much. This is the least they can do. Don't you think?" Jungkook asks, placing his hands on his hips, looking around searching for someplace to sit.
Namjoon laughs at his response and guides him to a table, with a phenomenal view of the Sea. He pulls out a chair for Jungkook and then settles in his own.
"Wow. Fancy" Jungkook exclaims and does a little shimmy in his seat.
Jungkook's voice might have been a little too loud for the quiet restaurant and a lot of heads turn to them as Namjoon tries to hide his face behind the menu card. Instead of wasting a lot of time, he decides it's better to get to the point. Quickly.
"So..." Namjoon starts.
"I've never been here before. Have you? What do they have that tastes good and comes in large quantities? What do you like? I am starving. Are you?" Jungkook asks, flipping through the menu.
"Everything is fine. I don't really care. Order whatever you want" Namjoon tells Jungkook, shaking his head.
"Hmm... That's not very helpful. I'll ask waiter Hyung. He can recommend something." Jungkook says and turns around, in search of a waiter to take their order.
.
.
.
"Ahh... Waiter Hyung was right. The pasta was delicious. I can't believe all you had was that horrendous bitter coffee thingy, Hyungnim" Jungkook remarks, wiping his plate clean with his finger, with a very satisfied look on his face.
Namjoon has noticed a few things. First, Jungkook talks a lot. A lot. But he's very quiet when he's eating. He also eats way more than his size and Namjoon thinks it isn't humanly possible for someone of that size to eat as much. But he's very cute. He scrunches his nose when he smiles, he has the most precious laugh and he has a matching mole under his chin, just like Namjoon. You are not here for all this Namjoonah, control your stupid Alpha, he reminds himself from time to time.
"So, when are we getting married? This week? I am okay with this week. Except for Saturday, I have a football match. I can't miss that. The rest of the week I am free, he tells Namjoon.
Namjoon waits for a couple of seconds for Jungkook to finally laugh cause he's joking, obviously, he is. But the laugh never comes. Instead, Jungkook sits there looking expectantly at him.
"Married? But... But we don't even know anything about each other. How can you...?"
"What is there to know? I want to get married and so do you. At least that's what I think. Let's. We have a whole life to find out things about each other. We'll do that later. first things first" Jungkook answers smiling widely.
"Well, I have a few questions then."
"Shoot", Jungkook says as he has now moved on to the beverage menu looking for something to drink.
"They don't have banana milk. But this one here has banana in it so maybe..." He says to himself and then turns to call his trusted waiter hyung.
.
.
.
"From what I know, you are in your final year of college. What are you studying?" Namjoon asks, folding his hands across his chest, and raising his eyebrow.
"They are teaching business administration. I am studying nothing." Jungkook answers distractedly as he waits for his drink and his eyes lighten seeing the approaching man with his drink.
"What are your plans after that?" Namjoon asks next.
"Well, my plan right now is to get married and get the hell out of here. Simple" Jungkook replies with a shrug.
"Why? Does your family trouble you? Do you not like them? What is it?"
"Oh, no-no. Please don't say that. I have the best family in the world. I love them a lot. It's just that, I wanted to get married as soon as I turned eighteen but then Hyung and Appa said I can't and got me admitted into this stupid course. I hate to study. It's the studies I wanna get out of. Appa says he's gonna send me to Singapore" Jungkook explains.
"And you don't want to go to Singapore?" Namjoon questions.
"Singapore is not the issue. He's gonna send me for my Masters. That I just cannot. Yoongi Hyung says it doesn't matter because your degree doesn't define you. Hyung and Appa disagree" Jungkook pouts.
Namjoon lets out a deep sigh and says, "Well, so let me get this straight. You want to get married because you don't want to study. That's it? It could have been anyone and you would have married them. No preferences?"
"Well, I did want someone living out of Busan 'cause I've never been anywhere else and I am kinda bored. Don't get me wrong. I love this city with all my heart, but you know..." Jungkook replies.
"Sure. I do." Namjoon says after a few minutes, "You have been honest with me Jungkook and so I will be too. I had no plans of getting married. Ever. But I have to. It has something to do with my dad's will. So, if you have any expectations from your mate, from this marriage, I don't... I don't think I'll be the right partner for you. It's an obligation for me and nothing more. I hope you understand."
"Cool. Let's get married then, It's a deal" Jungkook replies very nonchalantly sipping his drink, extending his hands that Namjoon shakes hesitantly, still in disbelief about the whole conversation.
"Okay, but I do have some questions," Jungkook says as Namjoon calls for the check.
"Now you have questions? After we made a deal?" He asks.
"It's important. Does your apartment have a spare room? I always wanted to have an art room for myself. I usually paint in the hall or the storeroom and it's not very inspiring you see. Any small place with a window would do. That's all" Jungkook explains.
Namjoon gives him a small smile, "Sure. I think we can do something about it" he says.
"Nice!" Jungkook remarks, "So should we get married tomorrow then? I am all packed. I have all my stuff ready." He says excitedly.
"How about we tell our families first? Okay?" Namjoon suggests. "Let's go now, they have been waiting."
"Oh, that's right. Cool then. Can't believe no more college from tomorrow" Jungkook squeals and claps as Namjoon gives him a strange look.
You need this, You need him Namjoon, it's okay. Relax, Namjoon keeps repeating to himself, as he quietly follows the excited omega out of the restaurant and back to the lounge.
