   Summary

   Joel was mesmerized. He was absolutely taken. Infatuated. You pick the word. And it’s not exactly abnormal for him to be caught up in the energy of a bright eyed boy with a toothy grin, but this felt more for some reason.

   “Earth to Beezer,” his friend’s voice broke into his reverie. He’d been fully zoned out, eyes glossed over, jaw slack as he watched the brunette laugh and spin from partner to partner on the sticky hardwood dance floor.

   Blinking roughly and shaking his head like he could clear his thoughts with the motion, Joel reigned in his attention span and did his best to redirect it towards his table of buddies.
