The first meeting had been awkward to say the least. Jimin hadn’t even known that there were newcomers in the pack until that moment.
He’d been bathing in the river behind his cottage, the cozy home that his mate had made for them and their future family as his final courting offer. The omega hadn’t had the heart to move into another cottage when his mate had died, knowing that the pack already ostracized him as he was.
Jimin was a mated omega whose mate was dead, and that should have been something that was understandable, but to his pack, he was nothing more than a used breeding tool that didn’t hold any more of its appeal that he once had.
Which was why it was awkward as hell when he was bathing in the river stark naked and turned around only to find an unfamiliar alpha standing there.
