Chapter Text
The rain hit the ground in a steady downpour, Paris watched, his legs dangled off the balcony, beside him was his girlfriend: Rosa westergaard Thremaine. She was 15 with long ginger hair and bright blue eyes, she was almost a foot shorter then Paris at only 5'6. She wore a tattered dark purple hoodie and black jeans that belonged to her brothers. Below them a group of guards from Auradon were traversing the narrow streets, handing anyone 21 and under identification papers which they would use to get onto the buses that would take them to Auradon.
"Paris?" Rosa asked after a moment, peering down at the guards. "We're leaving this place aren't we?"
"of course." Paris replied with a slight scoff. "We should probably go get those identification papers."
Rosa nodded and stood up "i'm going to miss my parents." She remarked quietly.
"I'm not going to miss a damn thing about this place." Paris responded, striding down the stairs, his black jacket and chocolate brown hair swaying in the wind. Rosa trailed after him and after a moment they made it to the street and preceded to trail the guards.
"Hey! You two!" A guard yelled after the duo had been trailing them for sometime.
Paris came out from behind the building first, Rosa followed him a moment later after she had pulled the hood over her head. "Yes?" Paris said, cocking his head to the side.
"What do you two want?" The guard asked hostility.
"They probably want identification papers." Another guard said with a slight smile. "What's your name?"
"Paris..." He hesitated for a moment. "Gothel."
"your her kid?" The guard asked, seemingly trying to be friendly, he had pulled out two forms and seemed to be filling one out. "What's your age?"
"Adopted." Paris grumbled under his breath. "17."
The guard nodded "Alright, what's your name and age?" He asked Rosa.
"Rosa westergaard thremaine, age: 15." She replied, giving the guard a suspicious look.
"Alright." The guard said with a smile, handing them the two forms. "Tomorrow morning buses will start arriving, show the driver these papers and your good to go."
Paris nodded and turned away looking at the forms, Rosa quietly trailed after him.
"Tomorrow morning?" She asked.
"Tomorrow morning." He repeated. "I'll see you then."
The next morning. Rosa's Point-of-view
The air chilled me to the bone as i made my way to where the 'magical highway' met The isle. I was accompanied by my older brothers, Aaron and Anthony plus my little cousin Dizzy who couldn't have been more excited. When we got there it was already crowded as could be considering it was 5 in the morning. Noisy, restless teenagers roamed about hoping to get into the buses first before their parents could come and drag them back into the hell they had grown up in.
"Rosa!" I looked up and saw C.J. waving me over towards where she, Paris, Jake hearts, Hadie, Freddie facilier and Paris' twin brother: Ryder had gathered.
Aaron and Anthony had both wandered off in some random direction leaving me and Dizzy by ourselves. I led her towards the others. "Hey." I greeted glancing warily at the buses.
Paris scanned the crowd, annoyance and bitterness playing on his face "Their going youngest to oldest. When your name gets called don't hesitate otherwise your spot will get taken and you may be left." he said in a way which was hard to tell if was making a observation or telling them what to do, considering he was the leader he was probably telling them what to do.
It donned on me that if we were being grouped by age it meant i would be separated from the others. I was 15, Paris and Ryder were both 17, Jake, Freddie and C.J. Were 16, Dizzy was 14 and Hadie was 18.
Names were called for the next hour and eventually a shrill voice called out "Miss Rosa westergaard thremaine!"
I sighed and felt Paris place a hand on my shoulder while handing me my backpack, i shot him a nervous smile before pushing and shoving my into the crowd and towards the bus. The bus was white and already quite packed. When I got to the door they woman standing there asked if I was Rosa westergaard, which i replied in the affirmative. She moved over so I could walk past her, once I was in the bus I settled myself in the back right corner and placed my bag at my feet, knowing sooner or later I'd being leaving this place and hopefully never coming back.
Waking up to bright sunlight for the first time certainly wasn't the most pleasant experience. Stumbling to my feet, disheveled and unsteady I staggered towards the door, finally i came to my senses and rubbed my face slightly to fully wake myself up. Almost everyone else was already out and looking around. Walking out my vision was flooded with the most vivid colors I have every seen. Red, pink, blue and purple combined with the bright green and vast amount of people all dressed in bright colors was too much for my eyes had become accustomed to dull, faded colors.
"Hey you!" I glanced up and saw a boy about Paris' age waving me towards him, A second later I realized that it was king Ben, beside him stood Mal and Evie decked out as every farther away stood Carlos and Jay looking around. I decked my head and tried to walk away but a guard came over and ushered me back towards them.
"king Ben, nice to meet you." He said with a bright smile, extending his hand I shook it sheepishly. "Whats your name?"
"Rosa westergaard." I replied meekly, doing my best not to make eye contact with anyone else beside Ben.
He nodded politely "We're pairing each new student with one of our own." Ben said. "You'll be paired with... Princess Eliza of Arendelle." He waved at a girl wearing sky blue and hair that braided and the color of snow with blue highlights. She sauntered of over with a haughty look on her face. You didn't need to tell me twice that she was Elsa's daughter and wondered if their were purposely pairing the children of villains with the children of those who had suffered at their hands.
"Lets go!" Eliza said with a disappointed expression. "If I'm supposed to spend the whole semester rooming with you, it better not be miserable."
I felt uttered alone and miserable as I followed Eliza through the halls of the school, she kept on talking about the history of the school and directions and all that stuff, not that I was paying that much attention to her. Eventually we made it to our dorm and Eliza pushed the door open and ushered me inside. There were two beds side by side, two closets, two chairs and a nightstand by each bedside. A white line between the beds divided my side and Eliza's. She would have the window side and I would have the door side.
"Alright." I said simply after she had explained all this to me. I set my bag inside the closet and sat down wondering what to do next, for a moment Eliza watched me but then she left and slammed the door behind her leaving me alone, waiting for the others whenever they might arrive.
