One afternoon while they were cuddling in the Hades Cabin Will had an idea.
“Hey Sunshine after my shift in the infirmary do you want to go watch the sunset with me?” Will asked wondering how Nico would respond.
“Yeah sure why not,” Nico responded, slightly shocking Will.
“Really?”
“Yeah it will be a really nice break from everything that’s going on and I think we need that,” Nico responded looking up at Will with a soft smile.
“Alright this sounds nice, we will be a bit late for campfire though,” Will said with a smirk knowing that Nico wouldn’t mind if they missed Campfire.
“I wasn’t planning on going anyway so no complaints here,” Nico replied as he walked Will to the door.
“I’ll see you at 6 then?” Will asked, giving Nico a quick peck on the lips.
“See you then,” Nico replied with a smile.
*Later at 6*
Nico walked into the Infirmary to grab Will since the sun was going to set soon.
“Hey Neeks I’ll be right there just let me put away some things then we will be on our way,” Will said, noticing Nico’s presence instantly. Nico nodded and waited at the door for Will to finish, and when he did they headed to a hill they found the camp’s border with an amazing view. Nico leaned into Will’s side as they watched the sunset reflect over the lake.
“I love you Death Boy,” Will said, squeezing Nico’s hand.
“I love you too Sunshine,” Nico replied, squeezing back. Soon they both fell asleep leaning on each other,they would have been worried but the harpies didn’t really bother them if they were out of their cabin’s past curfew. That’s how Hazel found them the next morning and even though she really should have she didn’t dare wake them up.
