It had been 3 days since Oikawa’s 19th birthday, and tomorrow was his birthday. The day they revealed their soulmate marks to each other.
“What if we have names that aren’t each other’s I can’t-” Iwaizumi’s thoughts were cut off as he heard a voice call out to him.
“So Iwa are you excited for your 19th birthday? Oikawa asked,hand intertwining with Iwaizumi’s.
“Of course I am Shittykawa,” he responded as they both started to walk towards the gym.
*Iwazumi’s Birthday*
“Happy Birthday Hajime!” Oikawa exclaims as Iwaizumi walks over to him.
“Thanks Tooru,” He responded, giving his lover a peck on the lips. As they were walking home Oikawa noticed how tense Iwaizumi was.
“Are you alright Iwa you’re really tense?” he asks, hoping to get to the root of the problem..
“I’m alright just a bit nervous about this you know?” Iwaizumi responds, squeezing Oikawa’s hand to reassure him.
“Yeah C’mon we should head inside,” Oikawa says, leading Iwaizumi into the house and to his bedroom. Once they sat down on the bed, it was silent for a bit before Oikawa spoke up.
“Are you ready for this Iwa-Chan?” OIkawa asked, grabbing the sleeve of his sweater.
“Yeah you?” Iwaizumi questioned. Oikawa nodded and they both pulled down their sleeves to reveal their soulmate's name which was imprinted on their wrist.

They both let out a sigh of relief seeing the name on each other’s wrist.
“I love you,” They both said simultaneously. It was then they noticed how late it had gotten, and remembered the tournament they had tomorrow.
“Night Iwa,” Oikawa said, curling into Iwaizumi’s arms.
“Goodnight Tooru,” Iwaizumi responds hugging Tooru but he has already fallen asleep in Iwaizumi’s arms. Iwaizumi eventually fell asleep as well thinking about how lucky he was to get this man as his soulmate.
