- Bucky is a classic man, so expect all of the sweet, classically romantic gestures — handwritten letters, flowers, hand holding and forehead kisses. A sweetheart!
- …At least, when it’s just you and him. He’d surprise you with how much his tone would change when you were alone. He’d be much more soft and affectionate
- You would have to encourage him and be patient, as it would take him a while to completely open up to you. When he did, he’d feel so at ease talking with you about things, and would melt when you comforted and reassured him
- *A flirt*. He’s playful about it, and would half do it just to make you laugh, but the other half would thoroughly enjoy getting you flustered. You flirt back? He’ll blush just from being pleasantly surprised, laughing and loving that you could be like that with each other
- He’s teasingly reluctant and grumpy about anything new or modern. Secretly (except not really) he’d adore seeing you enthusiastically show him new things, catching him up on movies, music, and so on. He’d especially be curious about all your favorites, wanting to know all about your interests and such. Of course, in the end, he still likes the classic stuff best, and would love sharing his old favorites with you, too
- Physically, he’s mostly affectionate when you’re alone, although he has a habit of swinging his arm around you or holding your hand in public without even realizing it. Especially if anyone else is being a little too friendly with you 👀
- He also loves being casually close with you, like you snuggling up to him while you watch TV together, or him hugging you from behind while you’re in the middle of something
- He’s a tease and and will often want your affection when you’re busy, making you lose focus on whatever you’re doing. If you decide to put whatever you’re doing off till later and pay attention to him, he’ll shake his head and leave you pouting (while he walks off grinning to himself)
- He’d be sweet and intuitive, often concerned and worried about you, even if he doesn’t express it all the time. Also a good listener and very supportive without judgment, roughly expressing the sweetest sentiments and leaving you feeling comforted and reassured
- Adoring and protective of you. Gives you loving glances when you aren’t looking, and talks about you constantly when you aren’t around. Proud of you and isn’t afraid to express it :’)
