Kiss Kiss

Summary:

“And so I thought: hey, I wonder what an upside down kiss from Caesar would be like~?” Joseph looked so serious, but the effect of his seductive smirk was lost in the way that he was, in fact, upside down. It instead looked ridiculous, and the blonde couldn’t help but laugh.

Notes:

repost from a prompt i got on tumblr which was an upside-down kiss

Work Text:

There were a lot of things Caesar hadn’t been expecting as he opened the door to his apartment, bag of groceries in hand. However, running into the upside-down figure of one Joseph Joestar and falling flat on his butt was one he never would have been able to think up himself. They’d both shouted in surprise as the blonde hit the floor, but much to his relief he’d managed to save the bag of groceries.

“Welcome home, Caesar!” Joseph said, winking at the other man as if he hadn’t just been run into.

“And what, pray tell, is this all about?” he replied, gesturing to the highly unsafe-looking harness Joseph had created and hoisted himself up with. The brunette crossed his arms and laughed matter-of-factly.

“See, I was reading Spiderman today because it’s been awhile since I’ve done that, you know? And then I remembered the scene from the movie where Mary Jane kisses him upside down in the rain!” Joseph pointed towards the window, where a light rain was falling outside.

“Well, there were certainly better ways to go about it than this, but I guess I can humor you,” he replied, crawling towards his suspended boyfriend. He kneeled up, looking him dead in the eyes, holding his face in his hands. “And before you say it, I’m not going to quote the movie with you.” Before Joseph could protest, Caesar leaned up to kiss him. The positioning made it a little awkward, but it certainly wasn’t the worst kiss they’d ever shared. Joseph held up his harms but didn’t move them, not really sure where they should be at this point. Luckily, as if he knew what he was thinking, Caesar deepened the kiss a little for him, nipping at his lips a bit before pulling away a few moments later.

“Awww, but it was just starting to get good, Caesar!” he whined, dropping his arms to hang sadly by his head as Caesar stood up and stretched. “Can you get me down then? I’ve been like this for a while now, and I’m actually getting pretty dizzy!” Caesar seemed to consider this for a moment before picking up the bag of groceries, maneuvering past the strange set-up as he made his way to the kitchen. “Wait! Where are you going!?”

“I might think about letting you down after I put these away. I can’t let the milk spoil, can I?” he replied, flashing Joseph a cheeky grin before disappearing into the kitchen.

“Caaaaaeeeeeessssaaaarrrrrrrr!”
