Work Text:
Joe tried to show some interest in the conversation, but he lost interest when the potential buyer kept insisting that Picasso was the biggest artist who had ever lived. Out of the corner of his eye, Joe caught sight of a beautiful man walking on the other side of the street for the second time. Just before the man turned the corner, he looked at Joe with a smile and disappeared.
Joe excused himself before he ran after the man and caught up with him seconds later.
Joe: "I never get to sell a painting if you keep walking past the café every tenth minute."
Nicky: "I got tired of waiting for you, so I thought I would save you from yet a boring conversation."
Joe: "It was quite boring, so thanks, Tesoro. I owe you a favour?"
Nicky pulled Joe in for a kiss.
Nicky: "Then I want lunch."
Joe: "What do you fancy?"
Nicky: "If I can have Dutch Tunisian for lunch, you can have Italian for dinner."
Joe laughed as he placed an arm around Nicky's waist to pull him closer before licking his neck.
Joe: "My favourite kind of dinner."
