"It sheer suicide to accepted an invitation to an unknown place with unknown people," Batman said as everyone on the Justice League table weights in.
"Wait, one minute I know these people. They are called 'Nors' Bats. They are a peaceful bunch with the knowledge we could use ourselves. " Superman displays a drawing image of a smiling human with dark long hair covered with white fur patch clothing. The only difference is their lizard tail drag in the back.
Wonder Woman enhanced the picture with her thumb in the air "They do seem harmless."
"It would be a nice vacation! Summer right around the corner. Have we ever had a field trip before without the use of saving," said Flash kicks his legs up on the table before dropping them back down from Batman's glare.
"Who's knows how old Kent's information is?"
"Nors never share information but they are listed as non-hostile...for a while"
"You're trying to get the team killed before we even started"
"My cousins vouches they only attack if necessary. Plus they could solve our biggest problems."
"Your basically a fan trying to get a notice by people who never hear of you. Stop pushing "
"At least I am seen as a beacon"
"Okay, fellows we should calm down" replies Wonder Woman as she stands up from her chair.
"All in favor to visited The Nors. 1 superman,2 flash...3. Since Aquaman and Cyborg are busy for a month due to personal reasons it's decided we take a trip. Pack light for tomorrow. The meeting is dismissed. "
Inconvenient. Batman has just arrived back home hours ago after Justice League decide to accept a field trip in space to "People of North" a.k.a Nors. Superman an advent fan and was excited to lay eyes on the territory since nobody has. The North immediately sent Justice League a portal after the invitation was accepted, blinking The Flash, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman to the blue planet.
Not only was the planet blue but everything was in different shades of blue. Makeshift Roads looked like cobble smash together. Street lights hover above people's heads whenever someone becks to them. The sky has two planets and a star aline their atmosphere that seems ready to smash into this planet. Superman's picture was accurate lizard tails sprouted from the people's backs pure white as snow.
Their feature resembles like a human if only the sunken on their cheekbones tattoo in the shape of an upside-down 'e' didn't give away. Clothing was glorified wet suits without the flippers pure white with gray tubes connect their front to hip showing off how fit and taller they are to the average human. Ears are block-shaped.
A whistle. Click goes The Flash camera to the welcome committee 'Nor' of five. "You guys really pull out the red carpet for us". The first one out of the bunch in the back of the welcome committee laughs as the rest stares at him. The one that laughs steps forward and extends his arm. He didn't have a tattoo on his cheek nor did he wear the same outfit. Just dimples and dots on his chin. His white hair was braided down to the back. He came with a leather black stash that wraps itself around its chest. Was it breathing?
"Welcome Justice League and future allies to Banak. I will be your guide, Prince Ayer. Sorry, my father could not be present but the King is dealing with diplomatic duties. I hope it's okay with you but a couple of people wanted to see what humans look like" watching as short white hair twins of Nors poke the flash suits.
"The books do not do you justice"
"What books?" They ignore The Flash responded and continues.
The other one with black hair strands of hair mix with white runs around superman firing question at Superman. Like What's that suit? Are you Kryton? How fast can you fly? Is are sun good for you?
"Well," Clark rubs the back of his neck.
"That is alright. Continue on with the tour. Who knows we might even decide to help you with your diploma issue," replies Batman as he surveyed the area. Wonder Woman holding hands with what seems like a shy tall child that reaches to her shoulder in comfort.
"Whoa, as suspected of the great detective" Prince Ayer, smirks as he leads them to a white circle building that floats in the air. Prince Ayer glare at the others making them dispense. The building uncovers a quarter as an opening with a blink they were inside leaving the Justice League out of breath. "Oh sorry, I forget humans can not handle our gravity shifts."
Moving pictures are seen on the walls shifts whenever one person looks at them.
"All out knowledge comes from here. If you notice our planet was given to us by our star when it fell in love with its moon." A picture of a moon clinging with a star. "Through sadness, the star gives birth to our plant 'Banak'." He touches chests softly creating a glowing light from his fingertips. " To eliminate the desperate of losing people he grate powers to certain people."
The Flash whisper," did they just explain big bang". Superman chuckles as Prince Ayer continues.
"Like the people who are on the welcome committee," Wonder Woman added as she carries the girl on her shoulders.
"They're not only civilians but bodyguards. You practical frisk us before we even step foot on the land." Batman adds.
"Our situation is extreme" replied the figure in the back. The figure had a long white braid wrapped around his neck. Instead of white wet suits as the others, he had fur patches blend of shaded brown. He wears a bead crowned possibly pearls. His tail was hidden like his son
Prince Ayer chokes and bows to the person behind their group, "Father Welcome". The King ignores and steps in front of his son with a creature. All white as their hair with five-legged and no eyes with all the fur. The girl with Wonder Woman climbs down and goes play with the creature as it grumps.
" I had to make sure your, not the ones that kidnapped My youngest son before he wakes up from his sleep cycle"
"With all due of respect we protect people" replied Clark with a serious tone.
"I know with the way you interact with my people", The King Grims.
"Am I the only one questioning what a sleep cycle?" Barry ask.
Prince Ayer displays a digital picture over their heads of a long white hair male with a dot under his eyebrow. Closes resemble Prince and King. The Flash snaps a picture.
"Sleep cycle is what Nor do to rest there powers after a strand used. It takes around four years in earth years but one day on our planet. His presentations are somewhere around earth solar systems" Prince Ayer drops to his kneels bowing face down on the floor. I know my father thinks little of your successfulness but I trust you. Please find my brother."
Everyone looks towards Batman who is studying the pictures of Prince Ayer's brother in silence.
"What is his name?"
"Ark."
"Who was the last person that sees him"
One guard blinks in front of the girl standing next to the creature grabbing her wet suit roughly. Batman puts his arm out in front of Barry shaking his head. Her hands and feet barely touching the ground wiggling and gasping in the silence of the room as the guard looks into her pale eyes replying,"bako no bo fack".
Wonder Woman lassoes the guard tugging him back to a wall. Dropping the girl in Superman's hands. Batman looks towards the King who dismisses the soldier with a wave of his hand.
"Useless", The king grossest turning the once white hair to fry red.
Next, everyone not in the room anymore expected The King and guard to the portal that is opening again when they first enter the planet. Superman clinches their hands around a spot still warm by a body that was there a minute ago.
"Thank you for accepting our invitation and our request. I hope you find your tour pleasant. Here is the portal you all have entered. Simply walk through and you'll be on earth." Prince Ayer beckons towards the portal.
"What even was that? You expected us to still help you after what we witness." Kent drops his hand and sits up.
"I assure you the help is fine." tilting his head to the side in wonder.
"You expect me to believe a dead body is fine"
"I do not quite understand. If you are worried about that particular help there are other people that can help give you comfort"
"You people..."
Batman interrupts
"Thank you for your hospitality if we find your brother we will call you." Batman enters the portal with Wonder Woman and The Flash. Superman was the last to enter. Once the portal closes Prince Ayer doubles back in pain as the twins pat his back concerned.
