Molly and Reba are forgotten women. Their stories are lost in the media frenzy after “the Fall,” as Ms. Lounds coins it, the world far too busy with murderous men to give more than a passing thought to the women (“collateral damage”) left behind.
For Molly and Reba, though, it’s just as well. It means they can slip away from it all, with Wally and the dogs, and form a new life for themselves, free from hungry eyes or murderous men. It means they can fall in love, on their own time, and rebuild their lives, piece by piece. Together.
