Work Text:
JiMin was looking through the already foggy window, as drops of the recent rain were born in the metal that held the window, lived in the thin glass and died in the cement that protruded below it.
He anxiously awaited the arrival of his current boyfriend, looking at the drops that now fell from the sky, he realized that he again started to rain.
He got up from his seat and walked around the house looking for his cell phone, once he turned it on, he deleted notifications (in the hope that in one of these he would find a message from his life partner) that he did not know when he had accepted they can reach him, drew his unlock pattern and opened the chat with his loved one.
[YoonGi hyung last time today at 18:47]
It was already 8:00 p.m. and there was no trace of him, he had disappeared from the face of the earth.
He had already called him repeatedly and had received no response.
The various messages asking him where he was did not reach him, and he well knew that something serious had to have happened for his partner to have turned off his cell phone.
He went to the kitchen to make a coffee and connected his cell phone to the power source, since it was working barely with 7% battery.
He heard the engine of a car outside, the ground creaking under the weight of the tires, the screeching of the parking brake being set, a door being slammed against the bodywork and the car's alarm being set.
A person had arrived, if his hearing did not fail him, and he was not in very good condition, the steps he was hearing were weak and clumsy.
The door was knocked repeatedly and he walked quickly to open it.
"I'm sorry," he said with a weak voice, entered the home and affirmed himself of JiMin.
“Are you okay?” He asked worriedly, a series of catastrophic scenarios with the worst endings running through his mind.
"I don't know," he replied as he struggled to stand, the opposite took him in his arms and carried him to the room they both shared.
"Can you explain what happened?" Yes, JiMin wanted to know why he was coming home at this time, but he was more concerned about YoonGi's health, then they would have time to discuss that.
"I went out to buy cigarettes..." he was silent, he knew that his boyfriend did not like him to smoke. He closed his eyes expecting JiMin to scold him, but nothing. He opened his eyes again and saw him, who was moving his hands, indicating that he should continue. "On the way back it was raining, I wasn't counting on that. I arrived at my work and in all that time I did not change clothes. I think I caught a cold. Also, when it started to rain, my cell phone fell into a puddle. I think it gave him the blue screen but in little version," the younger laughed at that comment, he sat on the edge of the bed looking his partner in the eyes, and remembered the time he had arrived.
"Can you explain to me why you arrive at this time?"
"They gave me too much work, actually, I brought home."I have a couple of topics to finish, I wanted to warn you, but you know, blue screen," the younger smiled and positioned himself on the opposite side, bringing their faces closer and bringing their lips together in a delicate kiss, in which all the worries, anxiety and stress disappeared.
Perhaps they could get angry, and suffer throughout the day, but a simple contact with the other put their hearts beating at the same pace.
