Chapter 1
Reki and Langa were skateboarding at the local skatepark practicing for the beef against Adam when Langa was called to eat dinner with his mom.
After saying their goodbyes and doing their signature DAP they parted ways. Reki went home and was watching some skateboarding videos when the call happened. It was from Manager Oka. Reki picked up his phone and answered.
"Hello Mr.Oka! What's up? Do you need me to deliver a skateboard?" he said.
"Hey Reki, something happened to Shadow. He's in the hospital." Oka answered.
"What?! What happened?"
"I don't know the details, I just got a call from Cherry. Him and Joe are already there."
"I'm heading over there right now!" he quickly said while grabbing his skateboard, "Does Langa know about this?"
"Yeah I already called him and Miya, they're heading over there right now."
"Ok, I'm going. I'll call you later. Bye!"
"Bye."
Reki put his phone away and climbed down his window. He started skating towards the hospital. He was worried. What could have happened? Did Shadow fall while skateboarding? No he couldn't have. He was supposed to be working at the flower shop. Reki was too into his train of thought to pay attention to his surroundings. He didn't hear Langa and Miya yelling his name and he didn't realize he was crossing the road. But the one thing he should have seen was the car approaching him. The last thing he remembered was seeing a black blur and blood everywhere. He was on the ground and he heard someone shout his name. He managed to stay conscious enough to see blue eyes and green eyes staring at him with so much worry in them.
