   Summary

   After the killing game was over, Shuichi woke up to discover that the whole mess had been nothing but a cruel virtual reality. However, that didn’t detract from the scars it left him with.

   To find peace in the chaos of relearning how to live, Shuichi poured himself into poetry. It was like detective work but with literature.

   On a night when Kokichi isn’t in bed, Shuichi reflects on their relationship through the lense of poetry.
