It is difficult to quantify exactly how irritating she finds Malfoy
She hates him. Well, no, she doesn’t hate him. Hatred is much too strong a word and she does not have any strong feelings about Draco Malfoy.
However, he incites a visceral sense of indignation in her chest every time she has to lay eyes on him. He makes her heart pound, he makes her mind grow alight with guilty anticipation. He makes boring things and places interesting and he doesn’t have any business impacting her environment in that way.
Hermione doesn’t want to feel anything at all towards Draco Malfoy unless it’s voluntary.
