Chapter 1: A Dream

Chapter Text

Speaking of bonkers, there's something I have to tell you. While I was under that spell, I had this crazy dream that I met my future self. And she asked me to do something for her. Only it wasn't a dream. It was real. And I said yes.

I waited for my sisters to respond, but they just stared at me. To be fair, I just told them that I was carrying my baby from the future, but the wait was making me very nervous.

I need my sisters, I need them to help me protect their niece, and while I never thought they'd refuse to help me, there is a lot more about this that will piss them off, so if just the fact that I am pregnant is a lot for them, that won’t bode well for the rest of the story...

"That is bonkers." Macy says, after what felt like eons. "What? Why? How does it even work?"

I sat back down, hoping to make myself comfortable on the bed. But, Jesus, being pregnant is incredibly uncomfortable.

"Honestly, I am not sure. We had limited time, and I only have minimal information."

"What do you know?" Maggie asked, looking at me with the same love and care she always does, making me feel a little less anxious about this entire situation.

"I know why they needed to do this, I know how to communicate with them when needed, and... I know who the other parent is."

"And that is..." followed up Maggie.

"I can't say. I am sorry. The only reason I know this is because that is relevant to how I should protect my child—the more information I share about the future, the more likely it is that we will change it."

The room was silent, and again, I waited for my sisters to respond.

"Okay, let's save my niece," Macy said, walking over and giving me a much-needed hug. Maggie right behind her.

Okay, I got my sisters. Now I need to get my future partner to help.

This is a mess
