It was his final fight with All For One or at least that’s his goal. It had been about four months since the war ended and Izuku just wants to put this bastard away. Every day he feels like he’s losing more of his sanity, Endeavor and Hawks basically told him he has lost it. He denied it back then but he gets what they were saying now. He looks crazy, he's covered in blood, sweat, and god knows what else. His hair is a dull green that looks closer to white his usual vibrant green eyes are dull and lifeless.
“Look at you Midoriya Izuku. You used to be such a happy person but now you’re filled with hatred. It's so sad to see what this society has done to you.”
“Shut it All For One this is all your fault!” Izuku grunts he’s feeling dizzy.
“Oh now my boy we both know that’s not true I may be part of the flaws but I’m not the sole cause it’s people like you that are the cause. People who think they can do everything on their own.”
Izuku stays silent; he knows that’s the truth if he just went to someone for help from the start. If he told the others he was coming to hear he would not be one foot in death’s door.
“I always feel saddened to see youth like you that have so much potential make the same mistakes as all the others did. If I think about it you could have been an amazing tool for me I could have made you unstoppable.”
The words rip out of his mouth before he even realizes he’s talking. “No, I would never join you in any timeline or universe. I'll always be fighting against you!”
“You would be surprised by the different possibilities. I guarantee you there’s a world out there where you’re loyally right beside me.”
Izuku is so mad right now mainly at himself he played right into All For One’s hands he’s done everything the man wanted him to. He knows if he showed up with others or if he waited longer, anything then the situation would not be this. He wouldn’t be getting taunted right before his death; he wouldn’t be failing everyone who had ever crossed his path. He just wants this to be over. Why can’t All For One just get this over with, why does he have to sit here bleeding while listening to him gloat?
He remembers the last thing he said it was a conversation with hawks they were fighting.

“You know that you can’t go, it's obviously a trap!” Hawks yell at him.
“It doesn’t matter if it is I have a chance like never to finally defeat him I can’t let this opportunity pass!”
“At least tell the others we can all make a plan, one that has no chance of failing!” Hawks looks like he is getting more stressed.
“No, I need to do this on my own. You all will just be in my way. I don’t need others getting hurt because of my fight.” Izuku is getting frustrated. He doesn't know why Hawks can’t get what he’s saying.
“That’s not how this works, you need to have help. You will never beat him on your own, he's too strong just let us in!” Hawks is borderline begging at this point.
“No.” Izuku is done with this conversation and he knows what’s best. He can’t understand why he’s being told what to do.
“LOOK AT YOURSELF YOUR IN NO SHAPE IN A FIGHT LET ALONE BY YOURSELF. TAKE A STEP BACK AND LOOK AT THIS FROM A RATIONAL POINT OF VIEW!”
Hawks just yelled at him he’s never seen the man lose control of himself like that. Unfortunately for Hawks the yelling only made things worse.
Izuku grits his teeth. “I AM. YOU ARE THE ONE BEING CRAZY!”
With that Izuku grabs the rest of his things and walks out of the room.
“Where do you think you’re going!”
“ANYWHERE BUT HERE!”
As Izuku takes off to the sky he hears hawks call his name one last time.

That was the last time he really talked to him to anyone really. He flew away and found an abandoned building and hung out there for the night before he went to find All For One. He would do anything to go back to that day to not fight with Hawks and make a plan with the others. He’s stuck though he’s going to die and cause the deaths of many others because of him being selfish.
Since Izuku was so caught up in his mind he didn’t notice All For One approaching him. Once All For One was in front of him he looked up. All For One was looking down at him with a sadistic smile.
“I can’t say I didn't expect this to happen but I’m disappointed in you. I thought you were going to be different from the others but you're not.” All For One’s smile wavers a bit.
“S-Shut u-up!” The pain is starting to be too much for him.
Then out of nowhere his smile becomes bigger than he’s ever seen it. It makes Izuku shiver out of fear. He needs to find a way out of here fast.
“Don’t be scared, what I’m about to do will hurt me more than it will hurt you.” All For One says mockingly.
All For One suddenly grabs his neck and his vision goes black from pain. This feeling is the worst pain he has ever felt in his life.
As quickly as it started it’s gone and he’s left panting covered in even more sweat than before. There’s a throbbing sensation in his neck from where All For One grabbed him. He’s confused he should be dead. That's what All For One was doing right so why is he still breathing.
“You look confused, well you hero type have always been slow so let me explain this to you. I’m not going to kill you, that would be too easy and a waste of my time, in fact, I just branded you. It's going to leave a pretty bad scar but that’s the least of your worries.”
Izuku raises a shaky hand to his neck. All For One isn’t lying. His skin feels hot and marred kind of like leather and it hurts like hell to touch.
“Being out of jail and the current situation of this society has let me find a new quirk, one that’s amazing and can do things beyond humans’ imagination. It’s a quirk that can send someone to other timelines or a better word for it is universes.”
Izuku's eyes widened in disbelief.
“I’ve been playing around with it trying to figure out how to send people there and the different settings. It’s been quite fun seeing all the different possibilities. I’ve found quite a few where you follow the path of being a hero but there are so many more where you are a villain. But there’s one world that I found that interests me the most. It's one where we work side by side, you're my successor and you do everything I say.”
“You're lying!” Izuku sneers.
“Don’t be so rude Izuku, I could never lie about something as great as that. Now I will continue without you rudely interrupting me. The second I saw this world I knew what I would do with you. I’m going to send you there. You will be stuck in a world injured where everybody hates you and wants you dead. You’ll have no one, no friends, no family, no colleagues, just you alone.”
Izuku’s blood runs cold he needs to leave now. He has to get out of here it doesn’t matter if he’s just lying if anything that All For One said is true he’s screwed. If he’s sent to a world where he’s a known villain he’ll get no help; he'll probably be found in a forest dead from blood loss. He needs to live so he can see everyone again so he can take down All For One and Shigaraki or any other villain that threatens peace.
Izuku slowly starts to crawl away. It's hard when almost all his limbs are shattered. As he’s crawling All For One slams his foot down on his hand breaking any solid bone left.
“You’re not leaving well, at least not to where you want. Goodbye Midoriya Izuku.”
With that, All For One put his finger to Izuku’s forehead. He feels the whole world start to fade as pain suddenly starts to kick in. As the world fades to darkness he almost thinks he hears a voice that sounds like Hawks call his name.
