TURN: 180 with the Frenchies

Summary:

What if the French had joined the Second American Revolution and allied itself with America and Russia against the Holy Empire of Britannia? How would that affect the war? Would they help turn the tide?

After a few months of debating, writer’s block, and life occurrences, I decided to abandon this fanfiction, but instead work on a Prequel to this instead.

Chapter 1: ...You Have Got To Be Fucking Kidding Me Right Now

Chapter Text

Chapter 1: ...You have got to be fucking kidding me right now

Lyanna had absolutely no idea how she got into this position, yet here she was. All the newly turned 20-year old woman wanted to do was to get a break, even if it meant a massive parade just for her birthday and victory of the Battle of the Nuclear Forces. Oh, but of course, something had to happen.

***

Five minutes before…

The Continental Army was just introduced to Major Benjamin S. Tallmadge and part of the 2nd Legionaries. They had just won the Battle of Brandywine when an unknown army dressed in purple and red uniforms, leading them was a woman with red hair and striking blue-grey eyes. What was weird about her was that she was floating in mid-air, her right hand clasped around a long black handle that had a large ruby on either end.

“Corporal Romanova, prepare the backup prototype laser shield generator around the army. General Washington, I suggest you move all the soldiers here at once, for they will not hold against this army alone.” the Major spoke in a frantic tone that worried most of the men, but either way, they complied with his orders.

Washington was both worried and bewildered, what did that army do in the future that had the descendant of his Head of Intelligence behave like that? Deciding to voice his thoughts to Tallmadge, he got one of the worse answers he had ever heard in his life.

“Sir, each soldier in that army is immortal, hence their name ‘Godly Army’. That woman leading them is the key to getting rid of that immortality, though only her family in blood can only kill her. Her name is Lieutenant General Marilyn de Lafayette, one of the deadliest people alive in my time. The only people who could kill the soldiers are the French, having the complete supplies to do so. You see that thing in Marilyn’s right hand?”

After nodding in acknowledgment, he plowed on, “That is the cleaved piece of the Lafayette Family Magic Wand. It can do anything with just the imagination of one’s mind. Thankfully, only a Lafayette by blood could wield it, anyone else would die immediately, their mind’s not capable of wielding such power. That wand is essentially called the eviler one of the two wands. Each wand can change its appearance when a different Lafayette wields it. How the Lafayettes managed to do this? We don’t know because the makers of the wand had destroyed the plans.”

While Tallmadge took a few deep breaths, the Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Army looked at his soldiers, their skin turned pallor, so much so that it looked like they had smeared white oil paint all over their faces.

“The shield can buy us time, but it is only a prototype and can break any-” They will never hear the rest of his sentence because Marilyn had shouted orders to her army to slaughter each and every American.

She then pointed her wand, the ruby glowing red towards them, and yelled, “Total Destruction Electricity Beam!”

***

Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Hamilton thought he was going to die when a flash of white, red, and blue flew in front of the beam and intercepted it, with her wand, to the side. A female voice rang out, “Soldiers, kill as much Godly as you can, I will take of the Major General!” He couldn’t see much of her face, but he could see she has dark red hair, a lean figure, and a full-on white uniform, complete with a white kepi, embroidered with gold. Why was she wearing pants instead of a dress? He had no idea, but he guessed it was difficult to go to battle in one.

“That’s our Lily.” he heard the future male Tallmadge whisper.

He guessed it was another descendant of his friend, Lafayette, fighting with the American side.

Hamilton looked closer at her wand: long gold handle, sapphires on both ends (the one that is used for focusing point for wand casting is significantly larger than the other). He guessed that wand was more good than the other wand, judging by its appearance.

***

Lyanna looked towards the person she once thought was a sister, now a monster. Right now, she isn't holding back, she is more than willing to die for the sake of her adopted country.

What she was confused about was how was she alive? Directors André and Simcoe, Marilyn, and a number of Britannian soldiers disappeared off the face of the world a few weeks ago, along with Agents Samantha Tallmadge and Natalie Sackett, Lieutenant Brewster, Major Benjamin S. Tallmadge, and his legionaries.

She was heavily saddened with grief that her fellow agents had disappeared, not wanting to pin them as deserters, she placed them as one of the deceased.

Lyanna had wasted no time planning how this battle would fall out. First, she needed to protect those unknown soldiers. She had no idea who exactly they were, but she will get some answers later. “Tortoise Shell Shield,” she pointed her gold and blue wand towards the army, protecting them for what’s to come.

Before she could do anything else, a body flung onto her at full speed, knocking the wind out of her for a few seconds. ‘Marilyn’, Lyanna thought distastefully. She was the reason her family had died in front of her, unintentionally or not.

She pushed her sister off her and flew into the clouds, away from the armies.

***

From down below, Rachel could see above red and blue lights bleeding in through the grey clouds. Not a moment later, they were gone and came the merciless heat of the sun. She squinted at the sky above her: two small figures, wands powering opposing colors, the sun was not the heat she felt, but the energy of the combined powers of the wands. The Lieutenant General knew which one was who, the blue was her Commander-in-Chief and the red was her Britiannian counterpart.

***

Lyanna knew she was losing, but she needed to distract the deranged woman from killing her soldiers. The combined energy was heading towards her at a fast speed, too fast, she didn’t have time to dodge.

When it hit, pain consumed her entire body. What was even worse, is that she fell face-first into the ground. Why was it that she was always the first one to go down? Yeah, sure, she was younger by 10 minutes, but she was just as powerful.

After narrowly dodging another beam towards her, Lyanna jumped on her feet and recited a modified version of the ‘Total Annihilation Spell’.

“I call this spell which has no name, My mother’s gift with which she reigned, Eclipse my heart with rightful power…” She pointed her wand at the sky as she floated in the air, a giant purple skull butterfly coming out of the crystal, dark purple clouds swirling around her, dark magic coursing through the air and her veins. Lyanna pointed towards her twin older sister, “Stand before the queen and cower!” She redirected the butterfly to kill the redcoat reinforces that were hidden via invisibility.

The spell wasn’t supposed to be controlled by the wand holder, but Lyanna was able to do it. Once the rest of the opposing army had retreated by the orders of General Howe, she summoned the deadly butterfly and cleansed it with light magic, now donning a white color, and pulled back inside her wand.

Lyanna had looked at her white dress uniform, now stained with soil. Thankfully, her insignia, awards, decorations, and medals on her uniform are still in place.

She got rid of her defensive shield spell from the army, morally confused at their 4 century-old clothes. Her sharp eyes caught a group of people that stood out from the rest, they were dressed in U.S. Army combat uniforms.

“Anna!” Natalie yelled, whilst running towards her at full speed. Lyanna signaled her soldiers to stand down. She melted into the hug of her friend, all the memories she had with the female Sackett flooding back into her mind.

She ran towards the rest of the group, not believing her eyes, “How the hell are you all alive?!” she shouted in disbelief, “We thought you were all dead because you had disappeared weeks ago.”

“Actually, we had traveled back in time. Four centuries, to be exact.” Benji informed her.

“...You have got to be fucking kidding me right now.” Lyanna had deadpanned as she moved her wand from her right hand to her left.

“Nope!” Samantha quipped, looking like an excited puppy, “Though, why are you in your dress uniform?”

With a tired sigh, Lyanna had recounted the events that led to here, as some sort of explanation, “I can’t believe you all forgot that yesterday was my 20th birthday, some friends you all are,” she joked when she finished.

When she turned around to see General George Washington, pushing aside her shock, she stood straighter, legs snapped together in a polished fashion, and had raised her right arm up until the upper half of her arm was parallel to the ground, her face not showing any emotion. Her forearms had been tilted at an angle until the tips of her right hand’s longest fingers, pressed together so that it formed a plane, were touching the tip of her eyebrow. Her left arm was stiffly by her side with her left hand curled into a fist around her wand. Her eyes concentrating solely on Washington. Lyanna had heard her soldiers doing the same thing, saluting to the first President of the United States, now General of the Continental Army.

It was obvious that the future soldiers had done the same thing to Washington, as he tipped his tricorn at her. Relaxing on the inside, Lyanna had clasped her hands behind her hand and changed her stance to be shoulder-width apart.

“I am so sorry to intrude this battle, for I had no idea, General Washington. Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Lyanna de Lafayette, General and Commander-in-Chief of the French and the United States of America Armies,” she said in a strong voice.

Lyanna had heard Olivia and Rachel land from their robotic pegasi and standing behind her, “May I introduce my French Chief Aide-de-Camp, Lieutenant Colonel Olivia de Rochambeau,” she gestured to her left towards the said woman. “And my French Head of Military Intelligence, Commander of the 1st Armored Division, and my Second in Command of the French Army, Lieutenant General Rachel de Beaumarchais-Hamilton,” she then gestured to her right, “It is an honor to meet you and your army, Your Excellency.”

“The honor goes both ways, General Lafayette,” Washington replied, “you have saved this army to fight for our freedom, I owe you my life.”

She sharply noded and turn back to her army, “I want the 1st Division to circle the field army, led by General Washington, just in case the Godly Army tries to ambush us. I want the Lore and Cosmo Field Army to either take flight, invisible or not, or stay on the ground near us, not behind me as usual, except Rochambeau, Hamilton, both Tallmadges, Sackett, and Brewster, as we head to Morristown in New Jersey, the decision is up to you. Now, I do not want to hear any of you antagonizing any Patriot soldier, I want you to give them respect when you see they have earned it. Remember, we are not fully allied with the Continental Army, since our main job is to get rid of the Godly Army, but that doesn’t mean you get to act disorderly. Do I make myself clear, soldiers?” A chorus of “Yes, ma’ams'' and “Yes, Your Excellencies” rang through the air and did as Lyanna commanded.

She then looked at the U.S. Army soldiers and a smile threatened to linger on her face as she said the most relieving news they had so far, “On September 09, 2177, Major General Frank O’Hara surrendered the west states: California, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, New Mexico, Washington, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Hawaii, and Alaska, meaning that the United States of America now has her proper number of 50 states. The battle, essentially called The Battle of Nuclear Forces, had convinced Mexico, Canada, China, Germany, the Netherlands, Australia, Philippines, and Italy, to side with America, France, and Russia, and openly declared war on The Holy Empire of Britannia. We can finally will this goddamned war.”

Some had dropped to the ground in utter relief, while some had tears of joy.

***

While Hamilton didn’t appreciate the swearing, he decided not to ruin the uplifting news, judging by the future soldiers’ reaction. Lyanna, was her name, was digging through the pocket of her jacket, when her hand finally came out, in the palm of her hand was a tiny ball, that was blue and a gold fleur de lis in the middle. She threw it a few feet from her, when it transformed (the process was disturbing, to say the least) it turned into a black alicorn, to the side was the number [764] and 6 stars, one star in the middle and the other 5 stars were surrounding the 6th. Her wand had taken a shape of a sapphire gold bracelet, which she hung on her left wrist. When she mounted on her alicorn, the future soldiers, who weren’t already mounted, did too, he guessed it was because she was their Commander-in-Chief, and all that. Hamilton couldn’t believe in the future, they had let women in war, much less lead a command.

As the younger Lafayette rode off, they soon followed behind His Excellency.

“Why the fuck are you eating baby food?!” he heard Lieutenant Carrie Brewster yell, seems like she had the same mouth as her ancestor.

“Because Care Bare, I haven’t eaten anything this past 6 days,” Lyanna snorted as she said, “You really think that all I wanted was for my soldiers and me to relax? No, we are low on food and even though baby food can’t be utilized for long-term results, it’s still food!”

“Though how does it taste?” Agent Sackett asked, he too was curious of how baby food tasted like in the future. Hamilton looked around and saw everyone else also wanted to know the answer to her question.

“The taste is more disgusting than the time I had to lick a live horse’s asscrack after it took a shit when I was 7.” That threw the men off, while the future soldiers: both Tallmadges, Sackett, Brewster, Rochambeau, and his descendant laughed hysterically, despite her dry tone.

“I still remembered that like it was yesterday!” the female Tallmadge cried.

“Yeah, same here, but at least I got my 100 dollars!”

After they calmed down, Washington rode towards them, keeping a steady pace with the fast one of their robotic horses, “General Lafayette, pardon my intrusion and forwardness, but I simply wanted to ask how you became of not one army, but two?”

Lyanna had thought for a moment or two before answering, “I joined the École Spéciale Militaire de Saint-Cyr in France for 4 years. I was placed as a Captain at age 17 and quickly rose the ranks of Captain, Major, Lieutenant Colonel, Major General, and Lieutenant General, until on November 06, 2175, I was appointed General and Commander-in-Chief of the French Army at the young age of 18, barely a year after I entered the force. I only got a head start because I was exceptionally bright, having graduated from Harvard University at age 11 and because of my last name. I rose to power quite quickly because I am an exceptional battle strategist and leader, when I took my command, I led my army to victory for most of the battles. General Charlus Lee died in action in the Battle of the Golden Gate Bridge, so that left Lieutenant General Alexander J. Hamilton to be the Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. Army. Sheridan’s Rangers caught him and me, one thing led to another and Hamilton died, and all that’s left of him was his dog tag. Our newly formed Congress, the Britannians had killed any person that had any political standing in America, decided it was a better fit for me to lead than Lieutenant General Georgia Washington. Any questions?”

It took a few minutes for the General to digest everything Lyanna had said, “How many troops do you have right now, General?”

“300,000 soldiers from my field army, Lore and Cosmo, and the 1st Armored Division has 25,000, sir,” she replied quickly.

“And what of the uniforms, madam?”

“There are actually 3 types of uniforms in the army. The uniforms Major and Agent Tallmadge, Brewster, and Sackett are wearing right now are called combat or “working” uniforms. The name speaks of itself, but they are most often made up of a heavy-duty jacket, pants, t-shirt, a bowl-shaped helmet, and boots. Combat uniforms are patterned in green or tan camouflage. Service members do wear this type of uniform in combat, but it is also common for them to wear it while performing day-to-day duties in non-combat settings. Insignia- symbols identifying a service member’s rank- are present but subdued, on combat uniforms. Service or “every day” uniforms are green, white, blue, or khaki, these uniforms include a button-up shirt, slacks or skirt, dress shoes, and cover. Service uniforms are similar to business dress- intended for office environments and for service members interacting with the public. Insignia are prominently displayed on service uniforms. Service members may also wear “awards” or “decorations” above their right breast pocket. These small, color-coded stripes are awarded for specific duties, missions, and accomplishments. The one that I am wearing and the rest of my army are wearing what we call dress uniforms. They are more formal and can be elaborate of the three. These uniforms include a formal jacket or jumper, slacks or skirt, a cover, and dress shoes. Dress or “mess” uniforms may be white, blue, green, or black. In some branches, there are different types of dress depending on the formality of the event. Insignia are prominently displayed on dress uniforms, as are awards, decorations, and medals.”

“How does the future military show insignia, ma’am?”

“On their epaulets, shoulder, or collar of their uniform, it shows their insignia: one bar of gold is a Second Lieutenant, one bar of silver is a First Lieutenant, two bars of silver is a Captain, a gold maple leaf is a Major, a silver maple leaf is a Lieutenant Colonel, a silver eagle is a Colonel, one silver star is a Brigadier General, two silver stars is a Major General, three silver stars is a Lieutenant General, four silver stars is a General, and five silver stars is the Commander-in-Chief. From the Major and up, their insignia is also placed on the helmet of their combat uniform. However, that is the United States of America military insignia. For the French, it is: one bar of gold is a Second Lieutenant, two gold bars is a First Lieutenant, three gold bars is a Captain, three gold bars, one black bar, and one gold bar is a Commandant or a Major, a gold bar, a white bar, a gold bar, a black bar, a white bar, and a gold bar is a Lieutenant Colonel, three gold bars, a black bar, and two gold bars is a Colonel, two silver stars is a Brigadier General, three silver stars is a Divisional General or a Major General, four silver stars is an Army Corps General or a Lieutenant General, and five stars for the Army General. From the Brigadier General and up, their insignia is also placed on the helmet of their combat uniform.”

“May I ask why you have 6 stars, instead of 5, General Lafayette?”

“Congress thought it was appropriate because I’m the Commander-in-Chief of both armies.”

“Thank you for further expanding my knowledge of the future militaries, General Lafayette.” And with that, Washington rode back where he was riding before.

How come his descendant gets a command, and he doesn’t? All he gets is a desk, quill, ink, and loads of paperwork.

But what really bothered him was the similarities between his descendant and his late mother: they both have Rachel as their first name, the same blonde hair and blond streaks, the same violet-blue eyes as he, the same skin tone as he. He missed his mother dearly, but this is too much, ‘Why does life hate me so’, he thinks as he continues to march forward to camp.

***

Lyanna was bored, and when she was bored she tended to do dumb decisions, but she was pretty sure that half of that stupidity is because of sleep deprivation.

Was it her fault that she turned her body, while her alicorn was moving, sort of, was it fun, yes.

6 groans filled the unbearable silence, each from her childhood friends, “Why do you have to be bored now?” Olivia asked her sister in all but blood, clearly annoyed.

“Because I can be bored when I want to be. Now, do either of you have makeup wipes, I have none left?” she asked her employees.

Both women checked their storage compartment, which was in the neck of their pegasus, and Rachel handed hers over to Lyanna.

“Thank you, my pores love you even more ‘cause I have a face full of makeup, and I need it off,” she breathed in relief. She took off her white and gold kepis and wiped the foundation, concealer, bronzer, highlighter, lipstick, and blush from her face. Lyanna could tell that the men from the past are now growing hostile of her, and quite frankly, she knew why. A law claimed from England, ‘Women found guilty of seducing men into matrimony by a cosmetic means could be tried for witchcraft,’ which is absolutely untrue. Thanks for her history major, Lyanna knows practically everything in history.

Can you blame her, though? Lyanna had dark circles under her eyes, hanging eyelids, droopy corners of her mouth, paler skin, all in all, this is what happens when a 20-year old pulls all-nighters to fight a nuclear battle for 2 weeks.

“What happened to you? Did you not sleep for 5 months or something?” Natalie asked, the ever mother.

“5 months is a big overestimation, but it’s actually 2 weeks. I have drunk massive amounts of coffee, eaten 80 pieces of brownies, 60 Carolina Reaper Peppers, I am ready to commit a felony or get a tub of ice cream.”

“Christ on a pony, Eta, you are going to sleep when we get back to camp,” Natalie told her.

“No, I need to deliver a report to the other Generals, officers, and later, the public about where we are.” she immediately shut down the request.

“C’mon, Nat, you know how stubborn Rose is,” Olivia reminded the former, “Besides, we tried to do that and all we got was an order to work harder.”

“In all honesty though, we all thought at least once that we were all going to die during the battle, was it worth it for the results, yes, was it worth our mental, emotional, and physical health, somewhat,” Rachel added.

“Do you all have a problem with makeup?” Lyanna asked, with a dangerous edge in her tone and fire emitting in her eyes, making the men never so afraid of women until now, shaking their heads no.

Lyanna tapped on her right earring that transformed into the ‘Magic Tech Fluid Earpiece’ or ’M-Tech E-Piece’, “Have any of you tried our technology in this era?”

When none answered and burning faces appeared, she sighed and turned on the ‘Magic Tech Fluid Network’ or M.T.F.N. for short, by dragging her right index finger from its base to the microphone. A yellow beam shot out from the earpiece to show the menu of the M.T.F.N.

Magic Tech Fluid Network

                Menu

Welcome: de Lafayette, Lyanna E.V.E.

Rank: General and Commander-in-Chief of the French and U.S. Armies

“What is that, General Lafayette?” she heard Washington ask.

“This is called ‘Magic Tech Fluid Network’ or M.T.F.N. for short,” Lyanna replied, “It’s only used for military purposes for senior military officers; it can view the battleplans live, it can hold meetings anywhere, anytime to anyone, take notes, etcetera. What I am about to do is, if I could use the M.T.F.N. to communicate with those in my time.”

The next page showed the pictures of the official pictures of the commanding officers of the Second Allies. She quickly pressed the one which shows Colonel Adams, and soon enough, she was proven right.

A man with warm beige skin, an oblong face, brown hair (shaven for military regulation, unlike certain Tallmadge cousins), cornflower blue eyes, 6 feet and 2 inches tall, complete with his combat uniform, sleeves rolled 2 inches past the elbow, showing the battle scars on his lower forearms, answered immediately.

“Lyanna, what happened, it was reported a few minutes ago that you, the Lore and Cosmo army, and the 1st Armored Division, disappeared off the world?! Are you safe? Are you hurt? he fired question after question in his Boston accent.

“I’m fine and so are my soldiers, but I need you to sit down because this will probably make you faint,” she assured the Colonel.

After he sat down, Lyanna preceded to tell him everything that happened, “...You have got to be fucking kidding me right now. Why, after the stressful battle you fought these past 2 weeks, the main French Army and artillery gets flung back in time 4 centuries?”

“My thoughts and words exactly, my first maternal cousin, great minds think alike!” Lyanna looked at Washington, a mischievous twinkle appearing in her hazel eyes, “And you might look for a certain General at 12 o’clock.”

Confused, but complied with her wish, Adams looked at Washington. After looking like a fish out of water for a few seconds, he saluted him, “Colonel Henry J. Adams, commander of the 25th Infantry Division, U.S. Army.” After Washington tipped his tricorn at him, Adams started speaking to his cousin like a kid getting presents during their birthday.

“I cannot believe that you’re going to Morristown with I’m George Washington, like the George Washington! Not only that but you get to meet Alexander Hamilton, John Laurens, Marie-Joseph Paul Yves Roch Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de Lafayette, and so many more notable soldiers from the first American Revolutionary War!” Soon enough, he was ranting all about how Lyanna was so lucky to be in the 18th century at a rapid pace.

Can you blame him though? His cousin gets to be in the American Revolution with the people who created America. And also because he too had graduated from Harvard University with a major in history in the year 2162 at age 15 in two years.

‘Oh, Harry,’ Lyanna internally cooed.

“Anyways, where is little Jack-Jack, ‘Yanna?”

“One second,” she held up her finger, “Jack Laurens, our dumb cousin wants you!,” Purposefully ignored the protest of Adams, “I am not dumb!”

A second later, a man with a triangle face shape, electric blue eyes, blond shaved hair, pale skin, 6 feet and 1 inch tall, riding on a robotic pegasus, flew in, “What do you want, Hen?” he spoke in a slight French accent.

“You are so rude to me, Jacky, are you not excited to see your old first maternal cousin after so long?” Henry faked offense.

“Well, yeah,” Jack agreed, “you are pretty old.”

Lyanna and her childhood friends burst into laughter because Adams was the oldest out of all of them.

Henry’s right eye twitched in annoyance, anger, and offense, “I am only 5 years older than you, Ly.”

“Yeah, only 5 years older, but in the year of ‘64, you along with Jack and Eli dressed in dinosaur costumes and danced to the song Dynamite, during the New York City talent show,” Lyanna deadpanned and her two cousins visibly cringed, “That was made for 7 year olds and under, you, Harry, was 12, Jack, you were 11, and Eli was 10.”

The two men were now thinking things couldn’t get any worse, but of course, it did, “And I recorded the entire thing.”

The silence stretched on for several seconds before Carrie broke it by saying, “Lyanna, please tell me you aren’t joking.”

“No, I am not, CB, unless you all had forgotten, I had the best seat: front row, very middle.”

“Holy shit, when we get back to our time, you will show us the video or I swear to all living things, I will…” Olivia trailed off, leaving the threat to the imagination.

Before she could say or do anything, another man joined the call with Harry, he had the same skin tone and face shape as her, porcelain and oblong, blue-grey eyes, shaved black hair, 6 feet tall, rolled-up sleeves of his combat uniform stained with soil, “Lyanna, where have you been! It has been 15 minutes since anyone had last seen you and your army. I demand an explanation because my army is doing your’s dirty work in San Francisco, instead of at Los Alamitos!”

“Eli, I am stuck 4 centuries in the past, so excuse me for your army’s pain!” was her sarcastic retort.

“I’m sorry, say that again, I thought you said ‘stuck 4 centuries in the past’, maybe I’m spending way too much time with Adams these days.”

“12 o’clock.”

“...Major General Elijah S. Monroe, commander of the 40th Infantry Division, United States of America Army,” he saluted and introduced himself to Washington.

Once the General tipped his tricorn in acknowledgment, Eli whipped to her with an expression that screamed: ‘explain’, to which she replied with a single shrug of the shoulders.

Jack, who forgot all about Washington, which was weird because he too, had a history major from Harvard (going to Harvard with a history major and graduating in 2 years at a young age was a cousin thing in their family), saluted the Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Army, “Lieutenant Colonel John A. Laurens, French aide-de-camp to Her Excellency, General and Commander-in-Chief of the French and U.S. Armies, Lyanna de Lafayette.”

“Trial Ending in 3...2...1…”

Lyanna heard a computerized voice ending the simulation. She opened her eyes, before using her hand as a shield to the blinding light. The general blinked her eyes multiple times while using one of her rings as a focusing point.

“This is what we will be hoping to succeed, the French and U.S. Armies going back in time to help the Continental Army. If they lose the First American Revolution, then there won’t be a Second American Revolution, much less a United States of America. Thank you.” Jasmine Schuyler finished her presentation. Jack helped Lyanna off the bed after the youngest Schuyler sister removed the wiring from her body.

The date is June 28, 2178 and it was supposed to be the day to relax after months of stress, but then again, when off the battlefield, things sometimes don’t go her way.

“Let’s just vote yes, no, or abstain. Today is the Battle of Monmouth, and in need of troops. I suggest we send in the U.S. Army first and have Lieutenant General Washington lead the soldiers, if the G.A. Regiment is there, then she will communicate with Dr. Schuyler to have the French Army as reinforcements.” Lyanna told the gathered leaders of each allied country.

“Who votes yes?” asked the President of the Allied Congress, Jago Trump.

All 142 hands went up and Georgia was contacted to have the army prepared.

.

.

.

12 minutes later…

Even though it was said to prepare her other army when Georgia said to, it was better safe than sorry.

Lyanna had suited up in her desert combat uniform. It was fit for the incoming battle because in history it was said that more soldiers died of the heat rather than bullets from the enemy. The arms of the sleeve were rolled up an inch above her elbow.

She was in one of the most painful places she’s ever been: the hospital room of her beloved husband, Alexander J. Hamilton. The redhead wasn’t lying when she was in the simulation about her experience in the military. But she skimmed the part about the Hessian Rangers. It was still a painful memory to her and often had nightmares, even though it was over a year ago. Luckily, she had Georgia a.k.a. her adopted mother, to help her with them.

The Rangers had captured them when the couple was celebrating their 2 year anniversary as husband and wife. Not a good way to celebrate a special day, obviously.

The door suddenly opened, which thankfully, was just Jago Trump and his girlfriend: Rosetta Brown. ‘Great’, she thought sarcastically.

“Mr. Trump, Ms. Brown, what do you need?” Lyanna asked them, chin slightly raised, reminding them that she’s the most powerful person in the room.

It was completely and utterly true. Lyanna was born in the number 1 richest family in France and the world, the total amount of wealth her family had is 2.15 trillion dollars ($2,150,000,000,000), and her networth is 285.5 billion dollars ($285,500,000,000) before the war. And let’s not forget about the amount of money she makes during the war. Being the General and Commander-in-Chief of two armies makes her $8,681,266 a year or $4,340,633 a month. Of course, she was a Captain ($4k a month), Major ($8k a month), Lieutenant Colonel ($10k a month), Major General ($16k a month), and Lieutenant General ($20k a month) before the war. Lyanna’s career as a fashion mogul makes her an extra $6,482,912 a year or $3241456 a month. She’s also a philanthropist, having orphanages throughout the Second Allied Countries, which makes her $12k a month or $144k a year.

Jago, however, wasn’t born in the top 50 richest families in the U.S., has a family wealth of 25 billion dollars ($25,000,000,000), has an annual income of 10 million dollars ($10,000,000) for President of the Allied Congress or 800 thousand dollars ($800,000) per month, outside industries the Trump Family has makes 12 million dollars a year ($12,000,000) or 1 million dollars a month ($1,000,000), and had a net worth of 9.5 billion dollars ($9,500,000,000) before the war.

Rosetta, was the “broke one” in the room, being a descendant of the family patriach Billy Brown of the Alaskan Bush People , the family’s wealth had a mere 12 million dollars ($12,000,000), her annual income as an instagram model earns her 200 dollars per post, and has a net worth of 1 million dollars ($1,000,000) before the war.

“I wanted to remind you that in the 18th century, there’s still a French monarchy. For example instead of Lyanna de Lafayette, it should be-”

“Lyanna du Motier, Marchioness de Lafayette. Yes, I know that Trump, I have history major for a reason.” she interrupted him, “I also made sure that those who had French ancestors with titles, would change their name. We, obviously can’t let the past know about the French revolution, both of them. I thought that we passed the stage that you both thought I was naive and stupid, clearly I was wrong.” Lyanna stood up and walked out of the room like the boss she is.
