"Woah!" Denki exclaims, rushing closer to the tank, squating to smush his face against the cool glass. Sero chuckles, shaking his head at him, moving to stand at his side at a calmer pace. "What is it, Kami?"
The blonde turns away for the exhibit with a wide grin on his face."Sea urchins." He looks back into the aquarium tank. "They're my favorite!" Sero scratches his chin at that," I thought stingray were y-" Denki waves his hand flippantly in his direction, "Details, details."
Sero squats down like Denki and squints to see where the urchins are. "I don't see shit, Kami." Denki sighs, pointing in an area farther back in the exhibit with an exasperated "there".
The ravenette searches through the rocks and the small fish that swim by, unamused at the hiding skills of these things.
Then he sees them. Purple little balls of spikes sitting atop the sand. Their spines wave a little in the current and sero shudders a bit. Sharp.
"Why can't you like seals or something?" The blonde turns to him with a stunned (pun intended) look, though sero doesn't look at him. "What, are you saying they aren't cute?! Sea puppies are cute but these are better." He tried to sound objective but he just sounded like he was pouting. He looks at the blonde with a grin. He was pouting.
"No, no. That's like saying Bakugou is cuter than Midoriya."
Denki gasps again, though Sero can hear the distinct sound of badly hidden mirth. "No, that's not a fair comparison bro! No way Bakubabe's cuter that Midoriya!"
Sero shrugs. "exactly."
He stands, legs sore from crouching for so long. Denki follows after him as they start their way towards the rest of the exhibits.
Sero points out which animals are cute and which remind him of their classmates and teachers. Denki laughs along while also trying to spread his sea urchin propaganda.
