Summary
This is the second work in this series, it'll probs only make sense if you've read the first :)
After getting free of Hydra and finally finding his sister again, Conner just wants to move on with his life. But he's not allowed until he submits to extensive testing- Fury wants to know the damage of Hydra's experiments on him. So he has to stay with his sister until he agrees, and she just happens to live with the goddamn Avengers.
When he gets there, he meets Wanda- gorgeous, soft, kind, Wanda. He immediately dislikes her, because she’s just so annoyingly distracting, and he doesn't have time for distractions. He needs to focus on his sister; he needs to show her how much he's sorry for not being there for her.
But he and Wanda might have more in common than they think: they are both mourning loved ones, and are just trying to figure out how to learn to cope again after having so much taken from them. Maybe they can help each other, after all.Series
