Ranboo was hiding from the rain when he saw him, the bee hybrid with glistening wings that had recently arrived at the lake. Ranboo had been enthralled by him as soon as he laid his eyes on him.
Ranboo had wanted to go speak to him, introduced himself but never quite managed to pluck up the courage. Of course the one time the bee was by himself was when a rainstorm had come in and he was stuck under a tree unable to go across the clearing in fear of being hurt.
"Hey!" Ranboo startled, his arm flinging out into the rain causing his skin to start to burn. He brought his arm close to his chest almost as fast as it had been flung out.
"Oh, sorry, Boss man didn't mean to startle you" the hybrid says hesitantly, "you good?"
"Yeah, yeah it's fine." Ranboo replies with a slight quiver in his voice, arm still held close to his chest. "Just part of the danger of being a enderman hybrid in the overworld"
Ranboo couldn't quite believe it, the bee hybrid was talking to him, he actually knew he existed!
"I'm Tubbo by the way, I'm one of the newest at the lake I don't think we have been able to get to know each other."
"I'm Ranboo" He was still in disbelief that this was happening but he was not going to lose this opportunity. He was getting a chance to speak to the person who had captured his attention as soon as he arrived.
They ended up talking until the rain cleared and Tubbo took the enderman to where he had set up base underground. Ranboo started to hesitantly help build and gain resources and from this start the rest was history. Once these two had met they were then barely apart like they are in every universe they meet.
