Work Text:
The storm had been sudden and spiteful, pouring down rain in sheets, pelting the sidewalk. Chrollo and Feitan had run for the nearest store, a supermarket.
“I’m hungry,” Chrollo announced, inspecting an avocado. “Fei, steal me some food.”
“You thief too, Danchou,” Feitan said.
Chrollo pouted.
Abruptly the lights went out. There was a chorus of moans and a few shrieks. Chrollo reached out for Feitan. He was gone.
In less than a minute the lights flickered back on. Feitan, who didn’t appear to have moved, extended both arms to Chrollo and deposited four wallets into his hands.
Chrollo grinned.
