Erase the eraser

Summary:

Aizawa was a busy man. During the day he assured that no one in class 1-A died, at night time he patrolled the city. The little time that was left were when he was supposed to sleep but that usually never happened. In one way or another life always seemed to throw curveballs his way.

At least this time he got paid for it.

“To see how much everyone loves quirk, just have a look around. You have a whole festival dedicated to them. Quirks are good. Quirks lead to happiness. Quirks are what makes the world colourful. I’m literally a quirk repellent, something so obviously different I takes all of that away by just existing.”

“I thought you were the same but now I know I am alone.”

Chapter Text

Aizawa ran. He had been on patrol when he got the call from the government that demanded his presence. Usually calls from your higher ups weren’t a good thing. Either it meant that you needed to step up your game unless you wanted to get fired or you got fired. On rare occasions you could also get a small bonus but Aizawa doubted that was the case since neither him or UA had gotten much positive publicity recently.

The air was crisp and the sky clear but nothing of that really matherd when you ran as if your life or more accurately your job depended on it. The streets were thankfully almost completely empty which made it easier to get to the police department where call had orders him to be.

Aizawa stoped outside of the concrete building to catch his breath. He was quite fit thanks the hero work but that didn’t mean he could run across half the city without effort.

With a steady hand Aizawa opened the door and went inside, careful so the door didn’t slam shut. If he were lucky he could sneak in and eavesdrop for a bit so he didn’t enter unprepared.

The call had orders him to appear in the basement, corridor D. If he remembered correctly that were where they kept suspected criminals which didn’t ease his worries.

What is the worst that can happen? He asked himself. It was meant as reassuring but his mind quickly answerd with scenarios of him getting his hero license withdrawn, him being put in jail and him no longer being able to teach at UA and for some reason instead working as a news anchor. He shuddered at the thought and quickly focused his attention on listening.

“You really need to upgrade this place or at least the cleaning. I can see dust all over the place. You know, usually when you first meet someone you present them to the nicest version of yourself and your life, a dirty cell.”

“Shut up before I make you.”

“I would love to see you try.”

Aizawa could guessed that it was two men who talked. Probaby one from the govermemt or the police and an inmate.

A bang suddenly echoed in the corridor and Aizawa got there just in time to see a balding man wearing a black suit shot someone tied to a chair with a tranquilliser. Useful quirk, Aizawa thought as he settled in the shadows to watch the scene.

For a couple of seconds the person in the chair, a man who looked to be in his twenties with black hair wearing a tan coloured coat hung his head. Assumably paralysed from the tranquil.

Content the suit clad man turned his back to the one strapped to the chair.

“BU!”

Suprised the man in the suit almost jumped out of his skin, slipped on some substance on the floor and fell on his bottom.

“I got you.” The black haired man said singsongly and smile wide so his eyes almost disappeared.

“B-but how?! My quirk is supposed to last at least one hour”

“Magic!”

The man in the suit shot the man strapped to the chair with another tranquilliser but this time he didn’t budge at all. The wide smile constantly on his face.

“You just wait until Eraserhead gets here! Then your magic tricks will be useless!”

“If you mean your little friend in the shadows he has already arrived.”

Dead brown eyes meet tierd red and suddenly Aizawa felt exposed. It was like all of his secrets got dug up and put on display for this mans eyes.
