“I have a surprise for you,” was all Charles said, smiling, before he took her hand and led her to their new spare room.
They had discussed what to place in the space when they bought their apartment, but had decided to leave it until they found something that would be perfect.
As he pushed open the door, Sam couldn’t think of anything more perfect than what he had chosen. In the center of the room stood a white grand piano, brightly lit by the sunlight streaming in.
Sam looked to Charles and grinned, saying, “Now you can teach me.”
