Sakusa nods. Not playing. So, either Atsumu is hard to get and it’s a fact, or Sakusa is in this game alone, shadow boxing like a moron. God, why do both seem right?
When Suna transfers to a new school and falls in love at first sight, he’s devastated to hear that his crush, Osamu, can only date so long as his shrew of a twin brother does. Atsumu is notoriously blunt and bad-tempered, has no interest in dating, and focuses only on his studies, but Suna is too smitten with Osamu to give up. Along with his new friend, Komori, Suna devises a plan to convince Komori’s equally blunt cousin to date Atsumu.
As Suna and Osamu get closer, Sakusa learns more about Atsumu and painstakingly works to earn his trust. They go on date after date, publicly embarrass themselves a few times each, and experience a fairy tale romance that they all wish would last forever. But Sakusa knows that as soon as Atsumu finds out about the bribe, it’s over.
