Megumi expects him to return to the phone, so he’s surprised when there’s suddenly a warm palm on his knee, even though he’s half-watching Satoru from his periphery. The hand slides down his thigh, fingertips rubbing circles into his skin and causing a breakout of chills at the base of his spine, rising up in an uncontrollable shiver. Megumi leans further against the window to get away from his body’s betrayal but he can still feel the way Satoru is smiling behind him.
“This is just for you,” Satoru murmurs, tracing his fingers back up Megumi’s thigh.
