Summary
When Izuku’s is told he can’t become a hero by the person he looked up to the most he falls into a downward spiral of pain, anger, hopelessness, and confusion. What was he going to do now that he no longer had a goal? He knew that the first thing he had to do was forget about becoming his hero and give up his idol-worship of All Might.
He got rid of everything, the figurines, posters, clothes, sheets, pins, folders, anything that had to do with heroes he got rid of. That is, until he began to throw away his notebooks, “Hero Analysis for the Future” and that’s when it clicked, he may not be able to be a hero, but he can become an analyst, at least that dream was more attainable than just blindly hoping to become a hero.
