Leonard and Sheldon left to donate sperm leaving me in the apartment grading essays from my students about call of the wild.
Sheldon asked me to go since my IQ was higher than most. He also used to bug me about why I chose to teach instead of a job in science. I told him over and over reading was what I liked to do and teaching kids reading was what I wanted to do. I also pride myself on being the coolest teacher the kids ever had.
I had finally finished with the last of the papers when I decided to take a walk.
When I opened the door the new neighbor had here opened and I decided to introduce myself. I knocked on the door frame a little and she looked up.
“Oh hey sorry is the music to loud I can turn it down if you want” she greeted.
“Oh no the music is fine I’m your neighbor and couldn’t hear it and my hearing is pretty sensitive any way off track. My name is Alec welcome to the building. Do you need any help?” I asked her seeing all the small amount of box’s in her apartment.
“Uh yeah sure if it’s not trouble can you help me with the other boxes” she replied taking my offer up.
“Not at all I just got done with grading some papers and needed to do something else while my roommates were out of the house.” I told her as we walked down to get more boxes.
“Roommates? You live with more than one person? How many?” She asked while picking up a box.
“Oh beside me there’s my older brother and our friend” I explained.
Over the time of me helping her I learned she was an actor her name was Penny. I was helping her sort the boxes out when Leonard and Sheldon got home. I walked out of her bedroom to see her talking to them.
“Alec? What are you doing in her apartment?” Leonard asked.
“Oh I’m helping her out I finished grading early” I told them while moving a small box to her bathroom while Leonard tried to explain that he and Sheldon were straight. It was quite funny to watch.
“Penny if you don’t have anything else I do have to get home it was nice meeting you” I told her.
“Oh no problem have a nice day” she said and I waved as I entered the apartment.
Leonard went back to invite her over for lunch from what I could tell while I changed from a white shirt and binder to binder free and a hoodie. When I came out they were entering the apartment. Sheldon was talking to her about the white boards. Leonard was getting everything ready to eat and I went over to the desk near the window and put my papers in their respective class number folder and Leonard ended up trying to get Penny’s attention by showing heatproof his board.
“Alec do you have a board” she asked.
“What oh yes but I only use it for lesson plans I’m an advanced reading teacher at the high school” I explained and when I finished she sat in Sheldon’s spot.
After him explaining it in his odd cute way she moved. I sat in the Papasan chair the opposite side of the arm chair. I had it angled to be like a nest and I sat crisscross in the chair while I ate my food. Sheldon explained to Leonard why he shouldn’t say we don’t have company over which made me laugh at how annoyed my older brother could get.
“So which one of you is related to Alec” she asked.
“That would be me” Leonard picked up.
“So what’s it like having him as a older brother” she asked assuming Leonard was younger than me.
“Oh I’m the older on of us two. People just assume cause he talks in a ‘more polite’ way and acts more grown up” Leonard explained putting up quotation marks around “more polite” which I found a little offensive.
She told us about her life Sheldon interrupted to go on a tangent about stare signs. She ended up in tears.
At this I got up and hugged her while she cried and the two idiots I lived with sat there panicking in silence when she got up Sheldon moved back to his spot and I got up and made some tea for her. I poured it in one of the plastic to go cups I kept around because my morning iced tea was always finished at work plus if company ever wants to leave they can take there drink.
“Here you go if you want I can put some ice in it” I told her and she took it while listening to Leonard explain paradox. Leonard offered the shower to her.
“Big bro you have no shot with her” I told him.
While Sheldon recalled how long it was since a woman had their clothes off.
“That not true. Remember at Thanksgiving our grandmother with Alzheimer’s had that episode?” Leonard defend like that was any better. I shuddered at the memory off that.
Leonard claimed he didn’t want to have sex with her while Sheldon who I sided with disagreed. Sheldon opened some sodas for us.
Howard and Raj came barging in about something with science. They teased Leonard because they didn’t believe about Penny. Howard started being the weird perv he was when Penny came out asking for help with the shower.
Leonard came out getting me and Sheldon in the car, we were going to get Penny’s TV from her ex. Sheldon went on a tangent about this. They dragged me cause I was a little stronger than most.
When we got there the two of them could figure out how to get in I knew but I wanted to let them figure it out. They had a combined IQ of 360 with me it’s 485. When the two little Girl Scouts did it the way I knew would work we ran in.
When we got there Leonard said he would do the talking. The man who opened the door was a lot bigger than me but I still probably had more fight training. I watched him take their pants off when they left I stayed.
“Wait sir! Yeah hi. That was my older brother and his friend whose pant you took any how I’m going to bet you do not know karate wrestling or boxing but I do and I would really appreciate if you gave me the TV we came to got.” I explained.
“ Your a younger brother” he asked reluctantly.
“I’m adopted. My mom wanted to see how that would affect me growing up. Any way the Tv” I told him.
“Uh okay but I’m keeping their pants”
“Fine by me I didn’t ask for their pants. I want to see them walk to the place we live like that” I told him as he got the Tv.
“Thank you” I said as he gave me the Tv. When I got to the car they couldn’t figure out how I got the tv which made me laugh.
They walked up rambling while I carried the Tv. When we got there Howard was failing at flirting. Penny freaked out about the no pants thing. When I came in she got all happy.
She offered to buy dinner. Witch the boys excepted. Penny ended up sitting on my lap cause I was the least creepy, “I’m sorry about Howard” I apologized. I could tell we now had a new member of the group.
