   Summary

   Ketterdam, twenty-five years after the tragic death of Sankta Alina in the Fold. A girl by the name of Mellie Stavlik walks home from a party, humming the last song as she weaves between people in the night. Her hair’s adorned with a piece her friend Batal gave her after her first venture across the Fold. She often wears it when she’s gone. It brings her a sense of protection and comfort. Tonight however she’ll find it’s much more dangerous than either woman realized.

   Alina's headpiece from the last episode of S&B S1 has connected Mellie to the Darkling, a being who survived and has stalked the world from the shadows ever since. Mellie must take this information in stride and find a way forward with the weight of the world on her shoulders.
