“Wow! The weather is so perfect today!” Nemu exclaimed stepping out of the car. You followed after her hastily, beach bags in hand.
You both took in the beautiful scenery. The sun shining in the clear blue sky. The sound of splashing waves. It all felt perfect.
Nemu tugged at your arm and dragged you towards the ocean shore.
“Let’s find a good place to put down our stuff and then play in the water for a bit!”
You nodded and followed her lead. After a few minutes of walking and trying to find a place that wasn’t too crowded, you both settled your stuff down in the sand.
Nemu took off her oversized shirt to reveal a soft pink bathing suit underneath.
“Wow…You look so pretty,” The words slipped before you could stop yourself.
“Awww thank you,” Nemu giggled at your reaction and poked your cheek. “You look pretty great yourself.”
“But not as good as you!” You insisted.
“Yeah right,” She rolled her eyes. “Enough chit-chat. Let’s go!”
She took your hand again and dragged you towards the ocean.
When the waves hit your feet you squealed at the sudden contact with the water. Nemu just laughed at your silly reactions and pulled you even further.
“The ocean is so pretty… and the feeling of the waves is wonderful isn’t it?” She asked.
“Yeah…” You smiled. You splashed a bit of water towards her.
“y/n are you challenging me to splash fight?” She smirked and splashed water right back at you.
You laughed and splashed even more water at her. The splash fight continued until you were both completely drenched.
Nemu took a towel from the bag and put it over you. “Here let me dry you off.”
“Oh…” You looked away embarrassed as she cleaned you up with the towel. “Thanks. Let me help you too.”
“Thank you!” She replied with a smile.
You both decided to spend the rest of your time at the beach relaxing. Sitting under an umbrella and enjoying the warmth of the sun, eating ice cream, and just talking to each other.
Unfortunately, the sun soon began to set, marking the end of your date.
“I had a wonderful time today!” Nemu exclaimed as you both walked back to the car. “What about you?”
“I did too!” You replied. “I’m glad we got to spend time together today… I love being with you Nemu.”
Nemu flashed you a cheery grin. “Me too.”
