"You're sure you're able to sleep in bed with me? I thought Ujiko said you needed a few more days--"
"I'll be fine. Besides, I'd rather be here than see you sleep on the chair in that hospital room again."
"And I'd rather have a stiff neck sleeping in there if it means you're not likely to hurt yourself in your bed. What if I roll over and lay on some of your ribs or something?"
"Then I'll have Ujiko fix me up again. Or I'll get one of Redestro's followers to help; it's nice to have some healers for once."
"...You're really not gonna budge on this, are you?"
"Nope. I'm sleeping with you again no matter what."
"Alright, alright. You really missed me drooling on your pillow that much?"
"I missed...other things."
"Like what?"
"Feeling you next to me. Hearing you breathe next to me and seeing your eyes closed. It made me feel happy--well, the closest I've been to happy in a long time."
"Tomura..."
"And being in that hospital bed was like being alone all over again. All my nightmares came back and I'd wake up to that damn chemical smell. I kept seeing myself in the window and the metal around me, with those tubes sticking out of my chest and in my mouth. I looked like him. I felt like him. I thought I'd be ready to be his successor but...I'm afraid of when it'll happen."
"Tomura, you're NOT your Sensei. Even if you're his successor, you'll never be him. You're Tomura Shigaraki, and even if he gave you that name he can't take that away from you. I love you."

I already feel him inside. I already hear him starting to talk to me. Telling me to get ready for the final stage--for the transformation.
"Will you still love me?" When I'm gone? When this isn't my body any more? "No matter what?"
"Of course, honey."
