It was just supposed to be the two couples having movie dates. Separately.
But, of course, they just HAD to be going to the same theater. On the same day. At the same time. To the SAME MOVIE.
Needless to say, Kuroo and Daishou fought the whole time and embarrassed the shit out of Mika and Kenma, so they were essentially put in timeout. But, if there's anything that'll bring two people that want to sever each other's intestines closer together, it's a mutual need to piss.
