Work Text:

Closing her eyes, Pansy took a deep breath to concentrate on the task at hand.

A warm gust of air ghosted over her cheek as she felt a presence invade her personal space.

Pansy’s dark brown eyes popped open. “Dammit, Loki. I’m trying to concentrate,” she hissed.

“And I want to visit this,” he held up a brochure in front of Pansy’s face, “Vin… ò… For-um.”

Sighing, Pansy looked over her shoulder at her lover. “I want to spend as much time at the event as possible too, but until I can camouflage the Quinjet the two of you hijacked, we’re not going anywhere.” Pansy turned back around and pushed Loki’s arm out of her face. “Go back to your brother and let me concentrate.”

She could practically feel the pout radiating from the dark-haired god as he returned to Thor’s side.

Closing her eyes again, Pansy had to push away the image of an irritated Clint and an amused Fury before she was able to concentrate enough to cast the necessary spells. As she was casting, she decided to include an intruder alert charm on top of the Muggle repelling spell she added to notify her if anyone passing by strayed too close to the S.H.I.E.L.D.’s hidden aeroplane. After making sure her spellwork would hold, Pansy turned and made her way over to Loki and Thor.

Reaching their sides, Pansy looped an arm through each of theirs. “Now, it’s still early, so we have some time before the festival starts today. Shall we find something for breakfast?” Pansy suggested.

Thor looked down at her. “Did you have anything in mind, love?”

“Well, Blaise always raved about the pastries from Pasticceria Regoli, and he would refuse to bring me back any from his holidays,” Pansy said.

“So, you want to visit and not bring anything back for your friend?”

Pansy nodded. “Exactly.”

“You are a devious witch, Pansy,” Loki told her. “I love it.”

She smirked. “I figured you would.”

“Of course Loki loves your devious side,” Thor laughed.

“What about you, Thor?” Pansy looked at him curiously. “What part of me do you love?”

“All of you,” Thor told her.

“Loki might be the god of mischief and lies, but you’re giving him a run for his money, aren’t you?” Pansy teased.

Loki raised an eyebrow. “And I don’t?”

“Don’t mind your brother.” Pansy patted Loki’s arm. “I know the truth. Now, Blaise said we had to try the maritosso, so let’s make our way to Pasticceria Regoli. I’ll Apparate us to the wizarding world entrance near the Colosseum, and we can walk from there.”

Pansy giggled as she watched Loki and Thor look around in confusion. She had claimed a small table on the side of the festival area to observe her lovers and the other people attending the festival.

The three of them had been at the VinòForum for hours drinking various wines, nibbling on food, and having fun. Pansy definitely wanted to buy a few bottles of that first pinot grigio they had, and she wouldn’t be against having some more supplì before they left, but first, her lovers needed to find her.

And ask the question she knew they were planning to ask her for weeks now. She might not be a Ravenclaw, but Pansy was a smart and observant witch, and she did not miss the changes in both Loki and Thor. At first she had a brief moment of panic that they were going to break things off, but then she found the small box hidden in their rarely used study in an even less used drawer when she was cleaning the flat a few weeks back.

It wouldn’t be easy for them since Pansy decided to get Loki back for his antics earlier when she was trying to conceal the Quinjet. However, the spell she cast was only on her lovers, which kept her from breaking the Statute, and it was something she created through her work with M.A.C.U.S.A. It was similar to Loki’s illusion ability, but instead of changing how she looked, she altered how they see others. In this case, all the women they see looks and sounds and smells and feels like her.

Biting her thumb, Pansy did her best to stop herself from laughing out loud at the pout Loki was now sporting. Who knew that a pouting God of Mischief was so adorable?

Looking around, she tried to find Thor as she had somehow lost sight of the large, burly god, but she couldn’t see him.

A massive shadow fell over her table.

“Found you,” Thor said from behind her.

Releasing her thumb, Pansy played confused and looked at Thor behind her.

“I’m sorry, but who ar—”

He cut her off with a laugh. “I know it is you, love.”

She raised an eyebrow at him, a silent question etched on her face.

Thor picked up on what she was asking. “You are the only woman I know that bites their thumb like that and crosses their legs at the ankles.”

Pansy laughed. “You always said I was raised as a princess, other than this.” She held up her right thumb.

“Brother!” Thor called out, gaining not only Loki’s attention but many of the other attendee’s attention too.

Before Loki could reach the table, Thor dropped to one knee in front of Pansy.

Pansy’s eyes shot towards her hairline.

Loki reached Thor’s side. “Brother, what are you doing? How do you know that she is our Pansy?”

“I will explain later. Trust me.” Grabbing Loki’s arm, Thor tugged him down to kneel next to him. “This is not how we planned to do this, and I hope we have the right wi… woman.”

The latter part was whispered to Loki, but Pansy overheard him. She bit her lower lip to hide her smile.

“That is our Pansy,” Loki chuckled. He reached for her left hand as Thor grasped her right. “My brother is right, this is not what we planned, but I am nothing if not opportunistic.”

This time Pansy couldn’t contain her chuckle.

“There she is, the woman we fell in love with from the moment we met her.”

“We both knew from the moment we met you that you were it for us. There was never a moment where the two of us doubted each other’s feelings for you.”

“Then we learned you felt the same way we did, and…”

Pansy grinned even as she felt her heartbeat speed up in her excitement. “The rest is history, right?”

“It is, and we want to add to that history with you.” Thor dug around in his trousers pocket with his free hand; when he pulled his hand back out, a small black box sat on the palm. “With you as our wife.”

Loki took over for his brother, “Will you marry us?”

“Yes,” Pansy said, smiling. She ignored the tears trickling down her cheeks and the small crowd that had gathered to see what was happening. “As long as we have that pinot grigio at our wedding.”

Loki and Thor grinned. “Deal.”
