Work Text:
Kagami returns from her annual trip home with treats and knick-knacks for her friends.
To Adrien, she presents a curious-looking bottle of a mostly clear drink. When the sun hits it just right, its subtle golden tones illuminate and spread.
The bottle is glass with a codd neck, and when Adrien shifts his hand, he can feel a weight moving around in it. He hears the clinking of glass on glass-- oh, there's a glass ball in it too! It sits in the bubble of the strangely shaped neck, a piece with a mysterious purpose.
"Whoa," Adrien's eyes widen, "What is it?"
Amusement pulls at the corner of Kagami's lips. "It's soda," she says. "Did I pick the right flavor?"
Adrien turns the bottle over in his hands until he finds the label. Passion fruit.
He smiles. "Yeah, it's my favorite. Did you know?"
Kagami blushes softly, shrugging humbly. "I remember Marinette mentioning it."
