"-I now pronounce you husband and husband, you may kiss the groom."
Luca smiled and looked up at Alberto, who was smiling just as wide.
"Luca!"
"Yeah?"
"Luca, snap out of it!"
Luca jumped and looked around. He was at school, and Giulia was standing in front of his desk with another girl.
Giulia giggled and rolled her eyes. "Sorry, Alessia. My friend Luca here likes to daydream. Luca, this is our new classmate, Alessia Brambilla."
"Hi Alessia!" Luca smiled and stood, holding his hand out. "I'm Luca Scorfano."
Giulia snorted, covering her mouth with her hand, and Luca paled when he realized what he'd said.
"Paguro! Luca Paguro! Is my name!"
Alessia looked at him, confused, and shook his hand. "Nice to meet you, Luca. Giulia, I have to go fill out some papers with the principal. I'll see you later?"
"See you later, Allie" Giulia bit her lip, grinning at Luca. When Alessia had walked away, Giulia started laughing, holding her sides.
"Giulia! Quit it!" Luca flushed, sitting back down and covering his flaming cheeks with his hands.
"Luca Scorfano, huh?" Giulia kept cackling. "Did something happen and you two didn't tell me? I am so telling Alberto about this!"
"You'd better not!" Luca sat up frantically. "I'm serious, Giulia!"
"I'm telling him! He'll get a kick out of it!" Giulia grinned.
"No, Giulia, I mean it! Please don't tell him!" Luca put his hands on her shoulders. "It's okay if you tease me about it in private, but I'm begging you! Don't. Tell. Alberto!"
Giulia's smile fell a little and she sighed. "Okay, I won't tell him. But you really should, if you feel that strongly about him."
"I know," Luca sank into his chair. "And I will! Eventually. Just not yet."
Giulia sighed and sat on his desk with a smile. "Okay. I'm sorry for teasing you, by the way. That was just really cute! Were you daydreaming about marrying him again?"
Luca glared weakly and Giulia laughed. He pouted and looked away. "Maybe! It's none of your business!"
"Luca, he's practically my brother. It's entirely my business." Giulia smirked. Luca just stuck his tongue out and rested his head on his arms. "But for what it's worth, he loves you too."
"You really think so?" Luca whispered.
"I know so," Giulia smiled and patted his arm. "He's probably got notebooks full of hearts that say Mr. Alberto Paguro. I just doubt he's ever introduced himself like that."
Giulia laughed as Luca swatted at her.

"Massimo, please please please please please please please don't ever tell Luca!" Alberto flushed as he hid all his notebooks. "Or Giulia! She would never let me live this down."
"I will not tell them you introduced yourself to my out of town cousins as Alberto Paguro, I promise," Massimo put his hand on Alberto's shoulder and smiled at him softly, shoulders shaking gently as he tried not to laugh. "Your secret is safe with me."
