Soul Mate Facts

• When a soulmate is born; the two soul mates' whole body will glow yellow for 20 minutes. If one soulmate mate is younger than the other, the body of the oldest will glow when the younger is born. After the 20 minutes, a gold chain appears on each person’s right wrist.

• When a person’s soulmate is nearby, the gold chain starts to glow.

• At the end of the chain is that person’s soulmate.

• Once the two people make eye contact, the gold chain changes into a bracelet that has their soulmate's name written in the centre; which will glow when either of the people are near the other. This only happens then the two soulmates meet physically; not when one soul mate meets the other as a spirit version of themselves.

• The bracelet on one of the soulmates will start to change to a rusty red colour when the other is injured/loses consciousness.

• It changes back to gold when the injury is treated/ the other regains consciousness.

• When the bracelet is completely coloured the rusty red colour, it means that their soulmate has died. When a person is in a coma; the bracelet is almost completely coloured the rusty red colour, except for one small part that is still gold.

• Soulmates have a soul bond which allows them to do four things:

• Communicate telepathically; which means they can communicate through their minds

• Reach out to each other; when one is worried or scared, the other reaches out to comfort them and other reaches back to reassure them that they are fine.

• When one of the soulmate reaches out; their whole body shudders and they smell their favourite food. Which is what their soulmate smells like.

• That smell is unique.

• Soulmates can feel each other's emotions.

• People like Miles and Simon hide their feelings more; so Phoenix and Nahyuta have to concentrate a lot harder than others to feel their feelings.

• Soulmates can hear and see one of them singing or talking to the other when they are far away from each other. To do this, one of them holds their hands in a praying pose and closes their eyes. Then they say out loud their soulmate’s name ‘I am always with you from this day forward and for the rest of my life. Don’t worry [their soulmate's name]; I’m on my way to your side. RELEASE.' Then their body glows with a gold light and their spirit leaves their body and will appear in a water source nearest to their soulmate. Everyone can see this spirit form of them and they will only be able to see everything that is where their soulmate is.

• It takes a lot of energy to do this.

• If the spirit sustains injuries, the injuries will appear on the body. If the spirit is shot, the bullets fall out of the spirit once the spirit returns to the body. However the owner of the body sustains the injury in the area that was shot.

• If the spirit form has been out of the body an excessive amount of time, the body will try to pull the spirit back to it.

• The longer the spirit is away from their body, the longer it takes to regain energy.

• The spirit is translucent, but can be touched by others.

ABO Dynamics

Alpha

• Alphas are the strongest generally, and are very protective of their soulmate/bond mate.

• They can be very stubborn about certain things.

• They can be aggressive, especially when they smell an omega in heat.

• Alphas howl when happy.

• Alphas playfully growl when in a playful or flirtatious mood.

• Alphas roar when they are angry or feel threatened by someone.

• Alphas can command omegas using their voice to do what they want.

Omega

• Omegas are generally kind, caring, docile and gentle.

• Omegas become for protective of their territory when in heat.

• Omegas purr when happy or content.

• Omegas chirp when in a playful or flirtatious mood.

• Omegas hiss when they are angry or feel threatened by someone.

• An omega's hiss temporally paralyses Alphas and Betas.

• An omega's singing can calm anyone down. An omega who is the soulmate or bond mate of a person in distress has the strongest calming effect. It will take one omega to calm an adult beta or a child alpha. It will take at least two adult omegas or three child omegas singing to calm an adult Alpha. If the omega is older than the alpha or they are that person's soulmate/bond mate then it will only take one. The exception to this is Simon.

• Omegas can resist Alpha commands but it is very painful and causes the body to tremble.

• There can be more than one alpha command used on an omega.

• The higher the number, the more painful for the omega when they resist.

• If there are two commands that contradict each other on an omega, when they stop resisting their whole body shake violently as the two commands fight until one of them wins out.

• Omegas have a mother instinct. When they see a child in trouble they react and go straight to help it. The instinct is stronger if it is their own child.

Beta

• Betas are normally quite strong, but not as strong as alphas, and they are laid back.

• Betas bark when they are happy.

• Betas snarl when angry or feel threatened.

Bond Mate- A bond mate is when an Alpha and Omega bond during sex. It does not have to be during an omega's heat/alpha's rut; it is just easier to bond during them. To become bond mates; they both must bite the scent gland on the right side of the other's neck. Bonds are permanent. Bonding is not marriage; it can either happen before or after marriage.

Bond mate skills

• They both can see though each other’s eyes. Their right eye changes to the colour of their bond mate's. To do this they say 'show me what [bond mate's name] sees'. Then they can see two visions. To change back they say 'I have seen enough'.

• They both hear what is happening around the other. To do this they say 'let me hear what [bond mate's name] hears'. To change back they say 'I have heard enough'.

• They both can speak though the other. To do this they say 'lend my voice to [bond mate's name]'. Then they just speak and it comes out of their bond mate's mouth. To stop they say 'I have said enough'.

• When they first bond, because their bodies are adjusting to their new skills, it takes a day for their bodies to adjust to their new skills. These three skills will occur at random times during the day.

• Bond mates feel and see each other's pain on their own body. So when one gets an injury, that area on the other's body hurts and marks appear on that area. When they first bond, their bodies have red marks appearing across their bodies at random times during the day. Their skin in the area that the red mark appears becomes sensitive,as their bodies adjust to the new skill.

Yelps and whines- All alphas, betas and omegas yelp when in pain; which alerts their soulmate/ bond mate that they are in pain. All alphas, betas omegas whine when they see their soulmate/ bond mate in pain. A whine or yelp can’t be suppressed. The soulmate/ Bond mates who isn’t in pain nuzzles the scent gland of the one who is, while releasing calming pheromones if they are near the one in pain.

Suppressing- Alphas and omegas can suppress their instincts; but it causes their next heat/rut to be more painful.

Dropping- This happens when an omega is extremely anxious or due to fear. This fear and anxiety cause the omega to lose consciousness, however they can still hear things around them but can’t respond.

Turning- This happens when an alpha get extremely angry and lose themselves to anger. The only way to bring them back to their senses is by hearing their bond mate's voice.

Scent Glands- Alphas, Betas and Omegas have one scent gland on the right side of their necks. However omegas have scent glands on their inner thighs to drive their alpha/beta crazy during sex. Scent glands release pheromones.

Pheromones- Pheromones are a scent that an alpha, beta and omega give off when calm angry, worried, distressed and aroused. When an omega is in heat, the pheromones they release are a sweeter version of the ones they normally release. An example of this is Miles smells like grapes and Phoenix smells like passion fruit.

Heat/ Rut- A heat for omega and a rut for alpha happen twice a year; unless an alpha smells omega in heat or an omega smells an alpha in rut, then they will go into heat/rut.

• Alphas and omegas can resist rut/heat depending on the smell of the pheromones the omega/alpha release. An example of this would be if Phoenix smelled an omega in heat who is releasing melon scented aroused pheromones it would be easier to resist the rut. Whereas if Phoenix smelled Miles going into heat; who is releasing grape scented aroused pheromones, it would be nearly impossible for Phoenix to resist.

• The more experienced a person is at resisting rut/heat the easier it is to resist an unexpected one.

• A heat/rut lasts one week.

• They can usually tell when a heat/rut is because the day before their heat/rut they are:

• More hungry than normal, more tired in a omega's case/agitated easily in the alpha's case than normal, more cuddly in the omega's case/get angry more easily in the alpha's case than normal.

• Omegas also start nesting.

• Omegas are also more emotional.

• When an alpha or omega is in heat/rut they let out more arousing pheromones than normal.

• The first heat/rut typically starts around the age of fourteen; it can start earlier and it can start later.

• During their first heat/rut; female alpha start producing sperm and develop a smaller penis than a male alpha would have. Male omegas develop a womb and ovaries.

Weak Omega Disorder (WOD)- This is an illness that effect some omegas. This causes an omega to have bad head pain, numbness in the limbs, their whole body to shake uncontrollably. Pheromones from an omega with WOD are weaker than an omega that doesn’t. There is medication to reduce the shaking and ease the head pain. This is diagnosed at around 10 years old. An episode of WOD can last between 20 minutes to 1 hour depending on the person and happens at random times. Most Omegas with WOD like to be held close to their lover or a best friend during an episode if they are with them. The Omega with WOD can tell when they are going to have a episode because it starts with the head pain which gets worse during an episode of WOD. Sebastian, Lang and Klavier have WOD.

General information that might be useful to know

Miles suppresses his purr, chirp and hiss after he starts living with Von Karma.

Simon suppresses his purr and hiss while he is in prison; but he suppressed his hiss before that.

Alpha are supposed to make sure their omegas are taken care of before themselves when it comes to bathing. However not a lot of alpha’s do. The ones that do are Jove, Dhurke, Nahyuta, Phoenix, Apollo, Clay, Kay, Trucy, Athena and Raymond. Eventually Rayfa and Franziska do this as well after Garan's imprisonment and Manfred's death.

Miles and Klavier where taught that they must wait until an alpha tells them to eat when in the presence of one. Which actually should not be the case; as omegas should have the freedom to do what they wish to.

Phoenix, Apollo, Nahyuta, Clay, Athena, Kay, Raymond, Dhurke, Jove, despise any other alpha who uses an alpha command on any omega and refuse to use them themselves. Eventually, Franziska and Rayfa also believe this as well.

Courtship- Courtship is when an alpha and an omega start dating. To make the courtship official they perform the courtship ritual. The courtship ritual involves one of them dropping to their knee and lifts the other's right hand to their lips and kisses the back of it. The person on their knee then says 'I [person's name] ask you, [other person's name] to court me. As your alpha/omega I will protect, love and cherish you from this day forward, for as long as we are together. Do you accept?' In response, the other lifts the first person's right hand to their lips and kisses the back of it. They then say 'I [person's name] give you [other person's name] permission to court me. As your alpha/omega I will care for, love and cherish you from this day forward, for as long as we are together.'
