Chapter Text
Nihachu woke up with a smile. Secretly an anarchist, she witnessed the destruction of government yesterday. Most shops were blown up, all the farms except hers were gone, and the best source of food was through herself.
Now, she didn’t like big crowds, but she loved money. Money wasn’t everything, but considering a shop pretty far away that has rare flowers that are pretty expensive, it’s something she definitely wanted.
She got up and drank some water, grabbed her backpack full of farming things, and opened her door to be greeted by the previous day’s mass destruction. “I love the smell of smoke” Niki said under her breath, before spotting the king of the smp flying and observing the explosion crater.
“Eret!” Niki shouted. Eret looked to where xe heard the noise from, and saw xis friend. “Hello Niki!” Eret shouted back.
Eret flew down to land so the two didn’t have to shout their entire conversation. “How are you?” Eret asked. “Meh, had a nightmare the tnt hit my house” Niki responded. “Hey, at least it didn’t actually blow up!” Eret said. “Yeah” Niki said, “How are you?”
“Pretty good actually, other than… yknow” Eret responded. “It’s good that your taking everything well” Niki responded. Eret pushed some of xis hair out of xis face. “Well I’ve kinda learned that if I’m not thinking rationally, people won’t like me” Eret responded.
Niki mouthed a quick “oh” while Eret looked at xis castle in thought. “I just had a random crazy idea” Eret said. “Yeah? What is it?” Niki asked. “What if we got a team of people to investigate everything, and prevent this whole thing to ever happen” Eret explained.
“So like the FBI?” Niki asked, before getting out a piece of bread. “Basically” Eret said. “Sounds interesting” Niki responded, eating some of her bread. “Would you join it if I made it?” Eret asked. Niki nodded her head.
“Alright, well I’ll see you later. Ill let you know if I get done with our FBI base when I start making it” Eret said, stretching xis wings out. “See you later” Niki responded, before Eret flew back up to look at the scene.
Nihachu walked the rest of the way to her bakery, and then down to a secret farm she had made. Niki wasn’t too good with Redstone (and just never asked anyone) so there wasn’t an automatic farm, although she didn’t mind the whole process of replanting a bunch of seeds.
Having fully stepped down, she put her backpack down at the wall and got out her trusty hoe. Looking forward, Niki looked at her many 9x9 areas and took a deep breath. She probably wasn’t going to get it all today before she got tired, but she dared herself to try to get as much done as possible.
Just before she started going, the bakery bell rang. “I’ll be there in a second!” Niki shouted, putting her backpack on, laying the hoe against the wall, and running up the stairs.
As she reached the top, Nihachu saw a familiar face for a second time today. “Hello Eret!” Niki greeted. “Hello! I just remembered you had a bakery and I was getting tired of being poisoned so much” Eret said. Niki chuckled. “How much bread do you want?” She asked. “About half a stack would be good.” Xe responded.
“Alright, that will be two diamonds” Niki said. Eret got some diamonds out of xis pocket and placed two of them down. Niki grabbed half a stack of bread from her backpack and handed it over the counter.
“Thank you!” Eret said, walking out with xis bread. “No problem!” Niki responded. She looked down and realised Eret dropped a note with the diamonds.
Nihachu picked up the note, and started reading it aloud to herself. “Remember where I found that Taco Bell gift card? That’s where our building will be. Welcome to the team, Agent Bread! Signed, Agent Jewel. p.s. like our code names? :D” Niki read.
“Aw” Niki said, putting the note into her pocket before heading back downstairs, humming Jack Stauber’s Peppermint. Dropping her backpack and picking up her hoe, she got to farming.
By the time Nihachu got tired, she looked around her giant farm area whilst drinking the rest of her water. “Nice, about five sixths done. Techno was right, farming like this is really good training” Niki mumbled. Giving herself a mental high five, she put the hoe back into her bag.
She put the bag on, and headed back upstairs. Looking outside, she saw the sun going down. Opening the door and walking outside, Niki breathed some needed fresh air. “It’s nice out here” She said to herself, before starting her walk back home.
About half way through her walk, she spotted Ranboo. “Hey Ranboo!” Niki shouted. Ranboo jumped at the sudden noise, but it realised Niki was there. “Hi!” Ranboo greeted back, walking up to her.
“How’s it going?” Niki asked. “Pretty well. I was actually hoping to find you on this path” Ranboo explained. “What for?” Niki asked. Ranboo handed Niki a piece of folded up paper. “How are you?” Ranboo asked, trying to move away from that subject. “Pretty good myself” Niki responded.
“Well, I hope you have a good rest of your night!” Ranboo said as it started walking off again. Considering Ranboo had the note folded, Niki waited till she got to her house.
As Nihachu closed her door, she opened the note and began silently reading the note to herself. “Meeting. Starts when the sun hits the middle of the sky. Be there, Nemesis. -Protesilaus” the note had read.
Nihachu folded the paper back up and slipped it into a random book on her bookself, before climbing onto her bed. “I quite like having my code name be Bread” Niki said, before drifting off to sleep.
