Shouto knows that he can never escape from his father. He is his fathers son and his fate is set in stone. He will be his father’s legacy. Shouto wishes that he could escape from the fate that seems to be carved into his skin the things that always have happen and always will. and maybe someday he will get the change to change his fate.

i kinda hate this because i read this and the entire time i felt stuck
it was so suffocating
and then the ending made it a little easier to breathe
but it wasn't quite long enough an ending for me to feel less stuck
so the experience of reading wasn't exactly enjoyable
but it was so
