“I can still sense the malevolent god’s prese—“ Lavenza began.
“Hold that thought. Does my mask make me look like a bird?” Joker frowned as he examined himself in the mirror. The probably-not-a-child stared at him. Was this truly the one who’d save them all from ruin? Yikes.
She suppressed a sigh. “Of course it does. Why are you only now asking this?” She wondered.
“I mean, I don’t wanna look like Akechi, Lavenza…” Joker snorted. “The others wouldn’t shut up about it if I did.” He went on.
“But you do. His mask is supposed to resemble yours. You are two sides of the same coin, remember?” Lavenza reminded him wearily.
“We are?” Joker’s nose wrinkled as he made a sound of disgust. Huffing, Lavenza put her tiny hands on her hips. “Were you paying any attention to the game, Trickster?” She demanded.
“No, not really.” Joker admitted with a shrug. “I was too focused on how much swag I radiate.” He smirked and tossed her a wink. Lavenza soon disappeared after that.
