“Oh Chat Noir, why did I ever reject you? You’re so cunning and brave! I love you! Please marry me!”
“Of course Ladybug! I knew it was only a matter of time before you fell for me.”
“Please let me touch your amazing muscles!”
“Adrien!”
Adrien turned to see a bright red annoyed woman in the doorway. He froze, action figures in hand.
“I thought I threw those away!” Marinette fumed, arms crossed as she strode over to him. He sat in front of the coffee table, on his knees as though he were a child.
“That’s where they went?!” He gasped in disbelief. “Well lucky for you I had more made.” He said smugly.
“Adrien...” She whined as she kneeled down beside him. “You know I love you... but well they’re kinda creepy.”
“Creepy? Marinette, no no. These are high quality, hand crafted. Just look into her eyes,” He brought the Ladybug action figure to Marinette’s face as she leaned away out of repulsion. “super realistic.”
“I don’t like them!” She huffed, pushing his arm away to get the toy far away from her.
“Well you know what you’re the one who rejected me for half our teenage years, I guess i’m just making up for lost time. You rejected me, you get to deal with it.” He said in a satisfactory tone.
“We’ve been dating for 8 years, Adrien! Married for two! I think that more than makes up for lost time.” She argued, although her whining make her sound like a 5 year old in a losing argument.
“Besides,” She continued, “not only was I rejecting Chat Noir for you, you also indirectly rejected me plenty!”
“You know what Marinette? You’re completely right.” Adrien sighed.
“Thank god.” She said under her breath, beginning to stand back up. “Glad you could finally come to your senses. Now lets-“
She stopped mid sentence when she turned and saw what Adrien had pulled out. He put his hand out to her with expectant eyes. In his hand were two separate action figures, these ones of Adrien and Marinette.
She sighed in disbelief. “Adrien Dupein Cheng!”
“What?! It’s only fair! Besides, they were having a 4 for 1 sale! I didn’t have a choice!” Adrien took the toys and made them kiss, accompanied by sound effects.
“Look at how cute they are!”
Marinette let of a huff in resignation. She sat back down beside her dorky husband and decided to let him win the argument. The excitement in his eyes overpowered the overall creepiness of the figures.
Adrien laughed excitedly. “Do you wanna play with one?”
“Give me the Chat Noir toy.”

“I lied.” Plagg said as he watched from afar. “He’s by far my least favorite Chat Noir.”
“I think they’re a perfect match.” Tikki said from next to him, more entertained than her counterpart.
“Yeah, a perfect match of idiots.”
Still, he couldn’t hide the fond smile that spread over his face.
