Ahsoka swore in her head, reaching out through the Force and none too gently tugging on the bond she shared with her padawan. She felt a familiar nudge in response—not from Sabine, but from someone else.
Her former master.
The presence was warm, amused, full of curiosity. Ahsoka could practically feel the smirk through their connection, and a second later, he sent back a distinct wave of humor and affection.
She could almost hear his voice. Having trouble with your padawan, Snips?
Ahsoka scowled. Hilarious.

The cub opens its eyes at the same time Obi-Wan hears Qui-Gon say, as if from far away: “The choice is yours to make. But it’s only right that you be aware that doing so will kill the j’ali."
Intelligent curiosity shines in its eyes. The thought of damning it to a cruel and heartless death brings Obi-Wan physical pain. “No,” whispers Obi-Wan unknowingly. He can’t let the cub die. If he does, he senses that the Force will rip itself loose and leave him a hollow echo.
“I thought so,” says Qui-Gon, resigned.
(While on a mission, Obi-Wan is gifted an unusual beast.)

“You gonna let me up or what?” Anakin growled. Trying to antagonise him, trying to get him to do something, was the only action he could really take. It wasn’t like he could do much against a Sith, anyway - he could barely hold his own with the Force and his sabre, let alone cut off and on his belly.
“I imagine I will have to change your position at some point or another,” Obi-Wan mused. “But we have a conversation to get through first.”
Anakin snorted. “A conversation? Or a monologue?”
Obi-Wan huffed a laugh. “It will lean towards the latter, I admit, but that is mainly because you are not permitted to speak.”
