Summary
Kanan tugged on the edge of the tarp and his mouth dropped open when a dirty face peered back up at him. It was a human boy. No, on second glance those eyes were distinctly feline, with slitted pupils, and there were furry ears poking out of matted hair. A catboy was sitting in front of his home.
After a moment Kanan realized they were both staring at each other in the rain, letting themselves get wetter and colder for no good reason.
“C’mon, get up,” he said. The catboy blinked at him, eyes wide and uncertain. Fear radiated off him through the Force. Kanan was pretty sure animal hybrids understood human speech, though he’d never interacted with any before. “Can you hear me? Let’s get out of this storm. I’m not going to leave you out here to drown or freeze.”
Kanan has been living alone for years, in hiding after he lost his entire family, culture, and religion in one devastating day. Then a catboy - young, blue-haired, and pregnant - turns up outside his home one day, in desperate need of care and protection. He takes the boy under his wing, but soon finds he can't resist the darker desires urging him to take control of his new charge.
