Work Text:
After hearing about old and new projects for several minutes, a young fan armed with courage opened the microphone by pressing a trembling finger on the screen. "Hyun Bin Oppa", the smiling man immediately looked for the image of the girl on his screen "Sorry for the question, but where is Son Ye Jin Unnie?" she laughed, embarrassed and all the other fans smiled on the screen, covering their mouths or eyes. The organizer of the virtual meeting immediately wrote a message to the actor and Hyun Bin looked at his cell phone. * We can get the girl out and move on with another question *. The man looked up, smiled awkwardly, showing his dimples, and shook his head. "Don't worry, you can ask me what you want" he had started, so as to reassure the organizer "Son Ye Jin is getting ready because we're having dinner out tonight". The fans went crazy in their rooms, smiling until their cheeks hurt. The same girl, now more courageous, continued "Do you have to celebrate something special?" Hyun Bin heard his ears turn red and shook his head "No, nothing special. It's just an evening where we are both off work and we want to enjoy our time together." Seeing how happy his fans were to see him happy warmed his heart. The organizer had opened the microphone and asked to move to the next question. Another girl, this time older, had asked the actor if there was the possibility of a second season of Crash Landing On You and if so, if he would like to be part of it again. "I will start with the second question. I would love to work with all those people again. Not only they all are talented at their jobs, but they are also beautiful people, with kind hearts. It was hard to think of those days as working days, rather it seemed to meet up with friends. As for the first question, I really don't know. I think it's very difficult to find a plot to build a whole second season. Maybe a couple of special episodes to meet the characters again and know where they are in their lives. That would be interesting. If you have any ideas for a second season tell me, I'll talk to the director" Hyun Bin laughed, obviously joking. A boy, who looked a little younger than the actor, had opened the microphone. "Hyung, there is a saying that goes "things come in threes", will we be able to see you again with Son Ye Jin Noona on screen? Or after two projects there will be no more opportunity?" Hearing the name of the actress, all the participants smiled again. "Aren't you bored with us yet?" He laughed softly "I would love to work with her again. Before being my girlfriend, she is an amazing actress" it was the first time he called her his girlfriend in front of fans, he felt proud but extremely embarrassed "She has always been an inspiration to me, I consider her one of the best actresses of my generation and I love working with her. She is very good at her job and she is a person with a heart of gold. What would you like to see us in?" Hyun Bin, finishing speaking, looked up as he heard someone enter the room. The woman he was talking about was smiling at him as she sat down in a chair to put on heels. "Heck, now you made me speak well of her and she heard me compliment her." He smiled at her with his eyes softening and then he made an effort to bring his gaze back to the screen. The faces on the screen showed looks of amazement, surprise, happiness. Then everyone raised a hand in greeting and Hyun Bin looked back at his girlfriend. "They greet you." The actress had taken a quick jog and leaned against one of her boyfriend's broad shoulders. She had bent her knees a little to be seen on his webcam. Hyun Bin had his arm on her side to keep her balanced, not thinking about being framed. He couldn't take his eyes off her, as always. She was wearing a dark blue dress, smelling of summer and clean. "Hello everyone" she smiled, her eyes almost closing to form half moons "keep asking him questions about me, so he can fill me with compliments" everyone laughed and she lowered her head to look at him. It was so rare to see him from above, only possible when he was sitting while she was standing, just like now, and he was beautiful, as always. She had squeezed his shoulder to show him her support, then she had greeted everyone wishing a good continuation. He followed her with his gaze until she disappeared through the living room door. "You're a lucky man" the organizer allowed himself to say, laughing "I am. I really am." He couldn't stop smiling as Son Ye Jin's scent still enveloped him. The actor had talked for a few more minutes answering a question regarding the training done in preparation for some past roles and those of the piano for the role of Ri Jung Hyuk. A very young girl then opened her microphone "Where would you like to go once this pandemic situation is over?" Hyun Bin smiled even more. In those days he was planning to ask Son Ye Jin to become his wife, so the priority after the pandemic situation would have been to get married. They had already talked about it, about family and marriage. They both wanted to go to Italy for their honeymoon. "In Italy. I've been there before and I fell in love with different cities. I want to see them again, but only when it is safe to do so. I recommend you too, when you go out always wear a mask and keep your distance" Everyone nodded, reassuring him. "How did you go through quarantine?" Son Ye Jin had returned to the room and sat away from him so as not to distract him. "I think like everyone else. We lived together for a long time, without going out or working. It was a surreal experience, as we both practically never stopped working for twenty years. Son Ye Jin worked a lot in the kitchen. She has learned to prepare new dishes. She was so good that I think I gained a lot of weight, I had to work hard to get back in shape when the gyms reopened. What else did we do?" He had looked up at his girlfriend for an answer. She had looked at him, holding back a laugh. Hyun Bin had opened his eyes wide and turned red. He hoped no one had understood his expression. "We've seen a huge amount of movies, that's all" he said with difficulty, swallowing heavily. As much as that was a truth, they both knew it wasn't all. They had made love countless times, using almost every single room in that huge house they had bought together. And that was absolutely neither the time nor the place to think about it. He glared at the woman, biting his inside cheek. She shrugged, raised her eyebrows, assuming an innocent expression. "We have time for one last question" the organizer brought him back to the present and the actor nodded. A girl who wore glasses with a sweet and extremely contagious smile asked the last question "Hyun Bin Oppa, are you happy?" The question had surprised him and his expression made it notice clearly. "What a deep question. Thank you for your concern. I am grateful" he bowed his head slightly "Fortunately I have always lived a happy life, but these last few years, between work successes and those in my personal life, have been the happiest in my life. I am grateful to have all of you, to have friends and family who always support me. I am grateful to have a job that gives me satisfaction and allows me to express myself as I want. I am grateful to Son Ye Jin. I'm very happy" There had been several thanks and greetings and finally Hyun Bin had turned off his laptop. As he closed his eyes, tired from the light of the screen and leaned his back against the white sofa he was sitting on, he heard Son Ye Jin sit astride him. Still with his eyes closed, he smiled and put his hands on her thighs, now uncovered by the dress that had risen slightly. She had passed a finger from his forehead, then over his nose and then stopped on his full lips. She bent down to give him a light kiss and then held his face in her hands. He had opened his eyes and the two had looked at each other for a long time. "I'm very grateful to you too. You make me the happiest woman in the world, every day" he had taken her from her hips pushing her towards him, every part of her body now in contact with every part of his. "You're beautiful" he kissed her again, this time deeper than she had before. He had brought a lock of hair behind her ear. "You are too" she had passed a hand through his dark hair, not ruining his elegant style. They had then spent a few more minutes simply hugging each other, exchanging a few kisses from time to time. Reminding one another, between gestures and words, how much they loved the other.
