"What are you looking for?"
Ranboo looks up, startled, to find a raccoon hybrid staring at him.
"My will to live," He deadpans.
Tommy burst out laughing, Ranboo keeping a straight face. "Good luck with that Ranboob" Tommy sneered with no bite after his laughing fit.
"I wouldn't mind help y'know"
"I'm about to patrol if you wanna come big man- wait no" he cuts himself off, frowning, "Small man."
Ranboo sighs. "Yeah sure, maybe I can find it there," he says sarcastically. Tommy gives him a mock offended expression before telling him to get ready.

Anddd that's how they got in this situation. Being chased by heroes with Ranboos power on recharge. He is in fact, not as athletic as his roommate, and obviously the one chasing them also. It kinda sucks. "I know I skipped PE a lot but I can't be that bad" Ranboo grumbled.
The hero, Bumble, was gaining on Ranboo quickly. Ranboo groaned, catching the attention of both Tom- Carnation and Bumble. If the other hero had heard him, they didn't show it.
Carnation tilted his head as if to ask the other if he can handle Bumble on his own. Well, he did ask that, just not out loud. he sent a message with his... Brain? Its part of his power, making people think of whatever he wanted.
Ranboo gave a quick nod, unnoticed by the other two. Carnation pushed off the roof to the next one. Wayve jumped a split second afterwards, leaving Ranboo behind with Bumble. He stopped suddenly, making the hero bump into him and fall.
"What the fuck??"
Ranboo giggled, looking down on the hero. Bumble glared at him for a second before pulling him to the floor. Ranboo made a sound of surprise, falling next to the shorter one. Now Bumble was laughing, much to Ranboos annoyance.
"Wh- don't laugh at me prick!"
"You did this to yourself Iris," Bumble pointed out giggling. He thought about that for a second. "You know what, yeah you're right I kinda deserved that."
They lay there for a second in silence before bursting out laughing. It really didn't feel or look like an interaction between hero and vigilante. Forgetting they're supposed to be attacking each other, they just laughed at nothing. It lasted a blissful minute. Then Wayve came back obviously very annoyed.
It was when they heard his footsteps that they remembered where and who the other was. Their eyes widened and Ranboo jumped up and ran behind the entrance. Bumble went up to follow, but when he got there, the other was gone, the only evidence he was there was purple particles.

Tommy propelled himself off the roof with his boots. Wayve, the top 3 hero, chased after him. He ran, taking shortcuts in the alleyways in hopes of losing him. Of course, it didn't work. He had started getting chased an hour ago, now getting tired. Just to his luck, he ran into a dead end.
"Well well well, Carnation," he spat his name, "Seems like youre trapped".
He looked around for a way out, spotting a fire escape. "Well well well BITCH", Tommy said, mocking him.
He sputtered for a second before settling on the response of "You child." Now it was Tommy's turn to be offended. "You are a bitch. Not pogchamp. Unlike me, Big Man Carnation. What kind of name is Wayve? Why'd you spell it like that? Are you not like other girls?" He snorted.
"what kind of name is Carnation? It is a literal flower??"
"It is very cool and pog, unlike you."
"Child."
"Bitch."
They glared at each other for a solid minute. Tommy took the first move, jumping up to the fire escape and climbing up. He disappeared before Wayve could even move. He ran up shortly after, but saw nothing.
"Shit."
He started walking back, very annoyed. He will get that guy if its the last thing he does. Techno will love to hear about his failure.
Hewas so deep in his thoughts that he didn't hear the laughter where Bumble and Iris were.
Turning the corner, he said to Bumble, "C'mon kid, lets go."
Maybe if he paid more attention, he would've noticed the conflict and confusion on his partners face.
