Summary
Diluc watches Kaeya instead. His hair had come loose from it’s tie. Wild blue strands of hair spread around him on the grass, his head is surrounded by pink and yellow flowers. Diluc thinks he can spy a windwheel aster by his ear.
Kaeya’s face is red from running around so much, his chest moving heavily with his breathing. The sun is rising behind them, painting Kaeya in the first rays of sunlight.“You’re beautiful.” Diluc mutters, softly, gently, with so much reverence it makes Kaeya quiet and blush.
“Says you.” Kaeya whispers back. He looks at Diluc, leaning over him and blocking out the sky behind him. Red hair cascades down his shoulders, his white button up messy and disheveled from their tussle. With the sun, Kaeya swears he sees a halo by Diluc’s head. “What an angel.” he mutters, just a hint of teasing in his voice.
